Yeah that's my #1 concern about if we ever get the full story on all this QB turbulence. It'll take someone retiring or getting fired and writing a book to really know what's gone on in the last few years. I would definitely read Cams if he eventually writes one

The Real Narrative of the S2 score leak...
Jackie Lee replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah i've been laying back because of the handful of people going to the redundant extremes the last couple weeks. The ignore function isn't even beneficiary at the moment lol. "Oh whats this thread?, 5 pages of people responding to 2 people I ignore?" -
Yeah, curious if training camp and all the autograph signing stuff opens back up this year. He had security walking around training camp not letting people film his amazing play calls lol.

The Real Narrative of the S2 score leak...

Every interview with that guy seems to question the validity and longevity of their whole thing. It could become a vital part of drafting or teams might dump it in a few years. Only half the league has bought in at this point and it's been around like 8 years. If Purdy didn't ball out in the QB friendly 9er's offense last year I don't think it would be getting half as much attention as it has gotten this year. Fields had supposedly the highest QB score on record at the time but his main criticism is his processing. -
He did way more damage than just sucking at coaching during games. And it sounds like he demanded the power to make all those shitty decisions, from Keep Pounding, to social media team, etc

I don't think he loves it, I think he has to watch it with some coaches after practice so they can tell him what just happened. Lets give rhule an S2 Test!

Roll Call…. T minus 5 days, who’s representing in person?

Is it really like 1k a person to attend draft night 1? To eat shitty BBQ and watch Motley Crue? lol -
8 years though, I wonder when they can cut bait financially if the fraud comes to light. He didn't really coach college in the NIL era so if he can't recruit off snake oil sales he might be screwed

Could a trade be on the horizon...(Vegas shift at number 2)

Did you see him throw at his pro day? Horrible, and he was huffing and puffing halfway through like the roids and mayo started giving him negative side affects -
Year one of EIGHT! Takes eight to be great

Yeah think of how many qb's that have taken this test have even had a chance to start for an NFL team with proper playbook time and game prep. So probably like 90% of the testers won't even make it onto an NFL with a full playbook and full legit game plan/practice time as the starter to even really be able to evaluate them post test
-
Yeah. Even if adequate at the position, I'm not sure if the trade value is going to look great in the long run. I wonder how much Tepper had to do with moving up to #1, haven't read anything too deep on that decision
-
He often started off a little hot on his outs and what not, then usually settled in. People forget that when he actually went into a QB friendly system in 2018 he ran it really well. Like 68% completions and the overall yards/td's etc didn't really dip that much

The Bryce media tour thing is a little weird to me. I don't doubt either ones desire to compete, it's just been an odd few weeks. I can't remember if another potential first pick did this much voluntary media the week before the draft

Owner of S2 test on scores being leaked..

You guys still going at it? -
This article is wild. I don't know who Bob McGinn is Here’s a sampling how some scouts summed up this collection of quarterbacks. AFC evaluator: “I would say a bit above average. There’s not a bonafide guy. There’s no Andrew Luck. Comparing it to Joe Burrow, Tua (Tagovailoa), Justin Herbert, that class was way better coming out. You can poke holes in all these guys.” AFC evaluator: “It’s the most overhyped, and understandably so, group that I can recall. Every one of them is flawed, and some with major flaws. So I think they all get overdrafted and, unfortunately, they all underperform. Even if they become starters they’re bottom-half-of-the-league starters.” AFC evaluator: “Teams have gone to better athletes at quarterback, but they’re shorter.” NFC evaluator: “None of these guys are Andrew Luck or Trevor Lawrence.”

It's not like grading a paper A-F. It's like comparing scores of all the players in the database which is like 370 qb's or so. So 50 isn't a moron, it's average. I wish they'd just release some beta version online people could try it out but they're still trying to sell it to half the teams in the league. The guy was also wording things very carefully so that it's not the end all be all if a guy will be good or bust. If Purdy hadn't came out and done so well I don't think it would be getting this much hype
