  1. He still had triple the production of anyone we've had at TE since Greg left. 2020 he still put up 558 yards and 5 tds in a rotation. Not saying it would be groundbreaking but if he comes on a vet min he could definitely beat out a least one of the 4 bums Rhule and McAdoo were rotating. Maybe even teach Tremble a thing or two
  2. It just reeks of a Kirk Cousins kinda move. Good enough to make it to the wild card game every other year and lose, always picking around 15-20. And it's not even really your own guy you drafted. I think Cousins is better than Carr and most on the Vikings message board are ready to move on and draft a guy instead of paying Kirk $35M a year over and over again with the same mediocre results
  3. Starting some money moves. This should help get us to only $3M-ish over if they do the whole 5.9
  4. Yeah that was a largely forgettable yet hectic free agency.
  5. Rhule and Hurney paid Teddy $20M. He's averaged like $7M per year for every other year. I know Carr/Jones/Jimmy G want 35-40 but I just don't think they're that much better than Teddy/Minshew/Brissett types that will play for under 10.
  6. Yeah I think they're facing the reality that Stafford is cooked, Donald keeps flip flopping on retirement, Ramsey might get traded..
  7. He was due $12M, 7 dead cap and they save 5. They're $15M over. They have so much money tied up in their top 6 players it's kinda crazy.
  8. I'm not buying the math here. They have Boze at $12M but the Browns center who is ranked higher and the same age at $7.2M https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/carolina-panthers/bradley-bozeman-25316/market-value/
  9. Damn I was assuming $8Mish a year give or take. He was 26th in pass pro out of 38 Centers
  10. Imagine trying to get hyped on this new staff
  11. Imagine the NFL asking anyone on our previous 3 years of staff to come up with combine drills. Aside from Campen
  12. Campen had one last year. Suppose they might decide to wait til we have a couple more QB's so the questions aren't just grilling him about who's going to be our QB lol.
  13. The fact that he was actually a good returner will be a low key bonus. Having coaches that can actually demonstrate proper technique is huge. I think Campen was the only coach from last year that had legit experience as a player
  14. Hope we get a McCown presser at some point. Had no idea he played his last game/first playoff game with a torn Hamstring.
  15. Chark and Minshew had a great connection in Jacksonville in 2019.
  16. Rewatching the Brown presser. We're actually going to run pre-snap motions? What a concept.
  17. I think I like this mic'd up better than the Rams clips I saw. Definitely going to be a lot of juice on the field.
  18. Something like if player gets a $25M signing bonus, that can be a $5M cap hit per year spread over five years, but you pay out the actual cash in year one. So Tepper can afford to pay up front unlike probably someone like the Raiders
  19. It's almost another Sam/Baker move though. You trade picks away for him, and have to pretty much immediately pick up his 5th year option for next year without really knowing if he can have any kind of sustained success
  20. I can see how his past interviews didn't go all that well. Super weird vibe after listening to our new coaches the past few days.
