True I just think Strouds throwing motion is so effortless his power is overlooked when watching normal game tape. That's a huge advantage when throwing in the pocket with pressure in your face

Herbert threw 55mph at the combine, Stroud threw 59mph. Watch Stroud throw 65 yard bombs effortlessly at the combine, Herbert was struggling to get it 60 yards at his. I like Herbert as well, I was kinda surprised when I went back and watched

If you're picking between Bryce and Stroud, Stroud has more physical upside. I'm not trying a QB sneak with Bryce for instance

I think that was when we were picking at 9 and it was potentially AR vs Levis. I'm guessing most of the AR guys are Stroud guys now that we've moved up.

mentally handling pressure in college is a lot different than NFL. Stroud can stand in the pocket and flick the ball while getting hit, Young is going to have to scramble more often just to get a chance to throw the ball to someone. I'm assuming that would cut the playbook in half, maybe the talent is worth that sacrifice

Now I see why he didn't hesitate to take McCown up on a game of Horse! I love that he's a natural competitor with confidence but not too much ego. People were knocking him for not seeming "fiery" enough, but after his pressers I like the way he controls his temperament -

It will be interesting to see if Carr is better than Dalton with the Saints. If anything to see if these QB contracts are anywhere near worth their value.

If we do all this trading and don't have one of them as the better fit for the offense I'm losing faith in the staff. Both great, but Reich has a playbook an one will fit it better than the other. Tepper picked Reich so he should be allowed to get the guy that fits his system

Yeah I think a blend would be great. Updated throwbacks are usually better than some 25 year old trying to make something look more like a video game or whatever their perspective is

Yeah if I'm an NFL team I force Bryce to throw in the pocket giving him no open lanes. Stroud is much harder to game plan for because he will have an answer for every defensive scheme you present.
