  1. I don't recall Reich having anything particularly elite with the Colts besides Jonathan Taylor going crazy in 2021. Also 2105 we had Greg and a bunch of outcasts and had our best season. I think an actual TE has to be a priority, and drafting one seems like more of a gamble than WR
  2. Let's do it. For the "He always throws to wide open WR's" crowd, these aren't easy throws
  3. Duce was with Chark in Detroit, that would be a great fit. He was so good with Minshew in Jacksonville. 1008 yards and 8 tds. Chark and Schultz plus a day two WR and I'd be stoked. Bring in Eric Ebron on a cheap deal as well and we'd be fine
  4. I'm more concerned with a legit TE. Reich had TY Hilton as his #1 with the Colts I think? Having an offensive coach should open things up to where you don't have to completely rely on one superstar WR, although it's nice when you get one. TY was a 3rd round pick I think, I'm sure we'll be adding at least one day 2 receiving threat
  5. Take the best WR or TE at 39, Chark in FA. Aside from that I'm guessing our trade value for Corral just dropped even more which sucks
  6. I'll take DJ Chark in FA. Duce definitely has a read on him from last year
  7. Probably. There's Jameis, Baker, Minshew, and Darnold and a couple more. Depends on if you want someone with a spark like White/Heinicke or a safe guy like Brissett. QB FA doesn't get any prettier next year, the draft is the only way forward
  8. Bears could sign him for $10M and get Burns and draft picks, they have like $90M in cap space. They need a whole new D-line
  9. Yeah the coaching stuff is behind closed doors. I can't imagine how much speculation and opinion is shared between scouts and journalists at the combine. It's all BS til we actually get to Pro Day visits and 30 visits, then it could still be some bluffing going on about who or who not we visit with
  10. Age is one. AR actually had a highlight reel last year, Levis had one deep throw that was kinda a lobbed up 50/50 ball. AR has better feel in the pocket. Levis pressure to sack rate was like 27%, AR was like 9%. AR's mechanical flaws are coachable, Levis' mental flaws are hard to fix. If mentals were easy to fix Darnold would be a franchise QB already
  11. Yeah I don't get that criticism in general. He scans the field regularly in most film I've watched. Who knows what the progressions are or rpo/play action responsibilities but he's usually not obviously staring down his eventual target the whole time
  12. This would be ideal, but I don't see the Colts sitting at 4 in that scenario. The Bears would move back to 4 for less than average value if they know the first 3 picks are QB's. They can still take the best D guy on their board and add at least a high 2nd rounder this year plus whatever additional picks
  13. The Seahawks are set up to take a QB at 5 if a guy falls, or go D if the guys are already gone.
  14. Interesting graphics. I don't know how they come up with these charts but it looks like AR took more shots 10+ yards down the field.
  15. Yeah his cons are the kinda stuff coaches aren't usually successful at improving. You can't give these guys brain transplants
  16. What about the Colts jumping to 2 and we're stuck at 3 with the leftovers?
  17. Great talk between Roman and Steve for anyone that needs a break from all this draft/fa never ending speculation. Very humble and vulnerable on both sides about their life experiences
