  1. guess that's what you get when you have a bad HC with full control trying to save his job
  2. Program interruption: Shaq actually seems to love playing for the team and being a captain Looks like he could get a couple sacks this year
  3. He's seems pretty cool. A bit silly but optimistic. I hope things change with McAdoo because this seems like a guy Rhule would ignore/bench/cut for no reason aside from no nepotism available
  4. We're not sitting on $25M, we're $30M in debt with next years cap. Need to put most of that money back into the rollover or else we're gonna extend Shaq/Robby/CMC into 2030. $30M in debt next year with Corral as the only QB on the roster
  5. Yup theres lots of things going into being a starting QB. I'm hoping Corral is already a little bit humbled from his first 2 years, injuries, and falling in the draft. McAdoo seems like a tough love kinda guy so the players might not like it, but he'll break em down and build them back up
  6. I wanna give Fields another year before declaring anything. He was in and out of the lineup with a shitty offense, he flashed at times and took some bumps that he'll probably correct. Yeah dumb comment but his coaching staff was also a mess
  7. Yeah I do, and I'm worried he's going to be in even more of a panic mode this year since the seat is super hot. He fooled people in the OTA presser last week acting like he's calm and collected but he's gonna freak under pressure, much like Sam in practice vs real games
  8. Give Corral as many snaps as Chuba did in preseason. Don't see why Rhule gets stuck on forcing some rookies into success and giving others pretty much no opportunity. Every team learns a QB's traits, I'd rather know if Corral can ball out sooner rather than later because he'll probably be the only current QB on the 2023 roster
  9. We're also close to maxed out on extensions/restructures of decent players. Might be cutting players like Shaq and Robby next year who didn't deserve their large contracts in the first place. $45M in cap hit next year for those two is insane.
  10. He might get a Trubisky like deal from last year, but probably not even $2.5M. I don't know if he even likes playing football enough to play for the vet min. He already bought a house in Malibu where he can boogie board 365 days a year
  11. Without that Cardinals W there were threats of protests outside the stadium lol. Then it just quickly turned to apathy on the obvious lack of coaching talent/personnel decisions. I think Sam should get a couple games with a better line and if he's still 50/50 on his TD/INT numbers fuging pull him, they aren't going to re-sign him anyway so it's just a complete waste of time to start him either way really
  12. Hopefully works out as ILB, we've got enough undersized DE's
  13. Strange I didn't know they did the top 30 visits pretty much at the same time like a job fair
  14. Ok so far they seems like they had no intention of trading out of 6, maybe if Ickey went earlier but who knows with the clever editing
  15. Don't they usually just drop these out of nowhere? Kinda weird move
  16. Would probably have to go with some equally unlikeable and untalented.. James Corden?
  17. Strange he'd say that and also list Trubisky 12 spots higher than Pickett, who's job would be taken "this year".
  18. Yes. Last year Robby was with his personal trainer instead of voluntary OTA's. He was already in the building the last couple weeks so it's that big of a deal at an internal level. TMJ and Shi need the extra reps anyway.
  19. Yeah bringing in QB competition because he sucked last year isn't exactly a type of adversity, it's just cause and effect.
  20. Rhule still coddling the 5th year pro. I saw no edge in those practice clips
  21. Don't really understand putting a guy particularly susceptible to bull rushes under center. Hopefully this is just Campen entertaining one of Rhules micromanagement ideas for a couple hours
  22. Dunno what #4 was throwing either, looked like he was tossing one to 1st base.
  23. Yeah with both of them learning a new offensive system I don't really see what Sam has over Matt aside from getting paid more. Even in these little Twitter clips Corral just looks like he's taking it more seriously than the other guys
