  1. What else is new. At least Miller looks good for a rookie
  2. Alright a reason to maybe watch some games now. It was like Groundhog day watching this roster
  3. I wonder how long the delay is to stream a live event. You almost certainly would have to turn off twitter and the huddle to avoid spoilers
  4. I believe the Super Bowl should be watched live on regular cable or rabbit ears. Who wants a multiple second delay just so they can view in 4k which makes things look unnatural anyways. Save it for the replay
  5. Official eye test measurement Bryce Young: 5-10, 180 with pads on
  6. Even if he can play decently he will be the weak link. No coach wants to start a match in a QB deficit. Wasting that much time and energy working around one guys limitations just because the owner gambled on him? Nah. He'd be a good Kyle Allen/Teddy type backup maybe
  7. Wow pretty wild stuff. https://nypost.com/2024/01/31/sports/panthers-dave-canales-lived-tortured-past-of-addiction-cheating/ โ€œFrom the start of our relationship, I was binge drinking and going out with friends, without Lizzy,โ€ Canales wrote. โ€œBefore I was ever unfaithful to her, I was already there in my mind. Bad habits combined with addiction made it hard for me to resist temptation. It was a pattern I knew well before we started dating.โ€ When Canales told his parents and parents-in-law of his infidelity, his mother-in-law responded, per The Charlotte Observer: โ€œI never trusted you fully. Iโ€™ve told Lizzy that, and now I know why.โ€ Lizzy asked Canales if he had unprotected sex during his affairs, and he admitted to doing so, leading to both taking tests that came back negative, according to The Charlotte Observer. Canales also described himself as a โ€œrecovering narcissist,โ€ and detailed how he had to work hard at โ€œdeveloping the skills necessary to be aware beyond myself and my needs.โ€ As for his issues with drinking, Canales wrote: โ€œI quit drinking alcohol altogether, knowing that I do not have great restraint in that area, and it numbs me to making other poor choices.โ€
  8. If he was my boss I don't think his tactics would motivate me, he'd just get on my nerves. Works for some people though. I freelance so I haven't been in that world in a long time
  9. I'm starting to feel the same thing already. Seems like he's trying to sell me some protein powder or something. Or doing press for his new self help book
  10. Even Flacco off the couch at almost 40 years old had a noticeably stronger arm in the Browns game I watched. I need the list of the 4-5 starters with weaker arms that some people are claiming heโ€™s above
  11. Imagine deciding to go from Rivera to Quinn. Canโ€™t think of a more sideways move
  12. Dans not really known for his charisma I guess. I don't really see him wheeling and dealing on the phone necessarily
  13. So the key word seems to be "rebuild" when the plan last year was to drop a rookie qb #1 pick into a playoff ready roster? So even if Bryce is decent by the time the rebuild is done he won't be on a rookie deal anymore. Or they could be acknowledging BY is a bust because they haven't said a word about him 16 minutes into the video
  14. Even though I appreciate all these guys it's hard to buy into watching any more fluff knowing Tepper is roaming around the building being a douche
  15. Ok so Teddy B for example threw for 3733 15 tds and 11 ints and Tepper/Rhule whoever were not impressed, that's roughly my baseline for acceptable improvement give or take a couple hundred yards
  16. If he throws for 3500 and 20 td's I'll be impressed. Or averages that if he doesn't play the whole season due to injury. Picks are kinda a skewed stat depending on tips/wrong routes/hail mary etc
  17. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-yards-per-game
  18. Here's a better example of yards per season. Bryce played almost every game so he has a lot of work to do to get into the top 20 which here starts at 3665 or so. No surprise we're dead last and the only game he did miss Dalton threw for 361 of our season total lol https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-yards-per-game
  19. That doesn't take into account how many games each qb played lol. Switch to ypa or something more useful and get back to me. He's obviously not better than Cousins or Burrow just because they missed lots of games for example
  20. Rank 21 Derek Carr New Orleans Saints ยท Year 10 2023 stats: 17 games | 68.4 pct | 3,878 pass yds | 7.1 ypa | 25 pass TD | 8 INT | 40 rush yds | 0 rush TD | 7 fumbles
  21. Well you said a fraction of Bakers numbers. What exactly would a satisfying fraction of those be?
  22. I mean that's pretty average top 20 numbers for anyone besides the likes of Ridder, Zach Wilson, etc. Otherwise known as busts. CJ had better numbers than that year 1
