  1. You nailed it... It was a weak rb class last year and to take one still recovering for a injury in a weak class was hilariously bad... You threw a second in the toilet. He won't see the field until on the 3rd year of his rookie contract with one year left and we still won't know if he will be healthy.
  2. Even more so this year with many saying this is the best running back class they have ever evaluated. So selfishly wanting to take advantage of that depth I can't see us not taking one at some point.
  3. I didn't get to. Include this but so many good players. Sadly the game changers are all 2nd to 3rd rounders doubt we reach that high. But as always some studs will slip through the cracks 3-7.
  4. I know a lot of people won't want to hear this because we took Brooke last year in the second round. But the fact is he's not going to play this upcoming season. I think that this team still lacks that true runner that can provide something special I think that the back we have now is more of a straight ahead take what's there back in Chubba Hubbard. But I don't think he provides any special traits like he's not the fastest he's not the biggest he's not the shiftiest he just kind of takes what's there. This this upcoming draft class is special a lot of scouts were saying it's probably one of the best running back classes ever and I don't want to miss out on that over what Brooks future does and does not hold with all the cam skattaboo Omarion Hampton travian Henderson judkins there's just so many special talents and to name a few off the top of my head I think we would be foolish not to at least take some guy third through seven somewhere in the back end of that I'm not saying jumping the second round but I'm also banging the table not to miss out what say you?
  5. It's definitely not all about stats.. there is always some projecting and you draft for traits.. walker is a unique situation tho because he's a tweener.. he's a inside outside linebacker where he wasn't a full time pass rusher or a full time inside linebacker. When taking a guy like that I would like to see some evidence of what I'm getting.. are you a like kuchely type player or are you Parsons? I just need to see his athletic testing to get more comfortable with him. He runs some freakish 4.3 or 4.4 and I will become his biggest fan.
  6. I could see it very easily happening. Defensive line is a strength of this draft class with I think I saw 24 or so draftable prospects which points to a lot of depth at our biggest need. If you can get an elite player who ranks ahead of the defenders available or have equal grades why not get the guy at the weaker position in the draft and get some of the guys not to far off in the next round jack Sawyer those type prospects on day 2.
  7. I just don't see it yet. His production and undefined position scare me. Now he gets out here runs a freak 40 I might heat up to him. But spending the 8th pick on this... Is scary.
  8. I think there is a real chance the Patriots could take him, the jets(not sure what's up with Wilson and Adams) and the raiders.
  9. I have seen the opposite. Early on he was a top 10 guy not so much here lately.
  10. I agree with both these takes.. walker doesn't have the production nor the solidified position to be talked about as a blue chip prospect in this draft. He's a very good player.. but elite? Why? Where?
  11. I think the opposite.. Evans is stiff and never been a big run after catch guy. He ran a pretty good 40 straight line speed. I think t ma stock can go up or down depending on his 40.
  12. Most people have Abdul Carter as the number one overall defensive player. Behind him you have Travis Hunter Mason Graham and Will Johnson at corner after that you start going at high upside guys mykel Williams, jaylon walker, shamar Stewart.
  13. We don't have either truthfully.. but speedsters are easier to find that alpha jump ball number 1 big body type guys which is why we gambled on legette.
  14. Tackle? Haven't even considered it.. are you thinking moton replacement? This is a bad tackle class and most of them people are saying would be better guards.
  15. I love Warren as well Warren would be my next guy because we've lacked that elite playmaking tight end for a long time and Warren is more or less a gronk clone so to speak. I don't think Ian will be back nor do I think Tremble will be back. There is room for another tight end to play alongside Sanders and while Sanders is solid I think we would benefit from an elite talent and playmaker at the position.
  16. Picking at 8 I believe the dream of landing an elite blue chip defensive player is all but dead. Carter is gone Hunter is gone Great chance Graham is gone, so at this point I know most of the board will say we should grab the next best pass rusher or edge. I say if the board falls right you still have a chance at grabbing the best wide receiver in the draft. Hunter is an elite generational talent and maybe the best overall player in the class. But he's not the best wide receiver in the class if that makes sense just pure wide receiver. T-Mac has elite size at 6'5 He's the big bully ball wide receiver the the red zone threat that this team has needed for years. A lot of scouts are calling him the next Mike Evans but when you watch T-Mac play he plays with a lot more burst than Evans ever did. TMac has legit run after catch ability with an elite ball radius to one hand and jump and make all those incredible highlight reels and if you watch Xavier legette play last year and your soul that he's the sure number one wide receiver of the future then this could be a bad call. But anyone who's being serious with themselves right now you wouldn't want to put all your eggs in one basket or bet the farm on him becoming the player you hope he can become after all the drops and iffy he play from him. I think this class is deeper at edge pass rusher and defensive tackle talent then playmakers so I'm praying to the gods mac falls.
  17. i am a huge McMillan guy. think hes finally our answer to big jump ball dominate x type guy. i would be willing to move up a spot or 2 for him.
  18. That's crazy. At corner specifically and possibly wr.. hunter is generational. I would wager him vs any corner in the last 5 years.
  19. I think Hunter is that talent. He's as close to a I bet he makes the Hall of Fame guy as u can find. He is the only guy that supercedes Abdul Carter in my mind.
  20. Just curious on the range of our comes.. best case if we lose. worse case if we win, anyone?
  21. I am not disagreeing I am just saying he is good enough to plug him in where you are leaning the most at any given time. If you need him at corner play him there. But also Bryce needs weapons specifically a number 1 playmaker. I think adding hunter atleast buys leggett time to develop further and add in a sprinkle of down field magic.
