  1. I cannot honestly say that I have seen that, especially from the Bryce haters... frank being one of them. I've seen him state that Bryce was at fault for being sacked 60+ times last season and that the aforementioned performance of his teammates were just excuses for his abysmal rookie year. Hell, just this week he tried to insinuate that Aidan O'Connell is better than Bryce. That doesn't sound like somebody that recognizes nuance... especially with how he excuses CJ's struggles while justifying his condemnation of Bryce as he has done. Whenever I see Bryce's rookie season brought up by detractors I very rarely see the asterisk regarding the bottom 5 OL, bottom 5 defense, bottom 5 weapons, and a coaching staff that couldn't/wouldn't work together. If anything, I see them try to talk about how bad CJ's team was on paper last season as if to say he was in an equally shitty situation. Which... really? We are going to keep focusing on preseason projections as if they're 100% correct instead of what actually happened on the field? The Texans were a GOOD team last season and are still a good team this season. Hence my earlier question. I had seen multiple posts mention how bad Bryce was his rookie season only to turn around and excuse CJ for his struggles this season (or dismiss his struggles while amifying Bryce's). It's incredibly goofy to say the least.
  2. Why is Bryce solely responsible for his rookie season but CJ's sophomore season is his teammates' fault?
  3. There are five or six Huddlers that could've had a much more pleasant summer (and recent six weeks!) if they weren't such angry little goobers that instead spent a majority of the offseason shitting on Bryce in every thread that got created.
  4. Look, I can't say anything about O'Connell since I've got him on my MUT (and he had a 90 ranking!)... but the stretching taking place had me wondering if this was a yoga board.
  5. O'Connell's stat line for his four starts this season: Team PPG: 14.5 Pass YPG: 180.5 TD-INT: 3-2 Passer RTG: 80.3 Sacks/Game: 2.5 That is a lot of bending over backwards taking place to try and justify the hatred for BY9. Aidan O'Connell? Come on now.
  6. No. Wonnum is better both on the field and on the budget sheet.
  7. XL - Looks the part and clearly worked on his route running during the offseason. Excited to see how he looks next season after an offseason working the JUGS machine JB - Heartbroken for the dude, but he looked like he belonged when he was on the field. Fingers crossed that the team errs on the side of caution again in brining him back incredibly slow Wallace - DAWG JT - DAWG Chau - Rookie got himself a pick and is getting time inside/outside as well as on ST Crumedy - TBD Coker - DAWG Richardson - DAWG
  8. Damn... that sucks so, so bad for him. Just a year and a month after his surgery to basically get a new ACL only to tear it during his third game. Would be nice to hear if whether or not TD hit him up; if there's anybody that can relate to what JB's going through, it's the guy that did it not just twice but three years in a row. He was looking like he belonged out there too. Fingers crossed that the rehab goes smoother than the previous procedure. I wonder if this means that the team might try and keep Miles Sanders or move on from him still? He's done alright as the third down back up until the ankle injury.
  9. Quickly, we need a Huddler to get on social media and tell these people to not get too excited
  10. Shocked that the committee got it right. That Tennessee/Ohio State/Oregon path lucks brutal.
  11. A few folks that said they knew 100% that BY9 would never be an NFL QB due to his size (and that fans supporting him are just delusional) are now butthurt over being called a hater? Le gasp. Glad some folks are coming around. There's a huge difference in "Show me at an NFL level" vs. "He's never thrown further than 20yds in his entire life" It's nice to see the folks in the former coming around to the point of allowing themselves (and others!) to enjoy Panther football. Bryce has gone through a hell of a start to his career that would've easily broken many other young QBs. Glad to see the young man staying mentally well and competing for his teammates.
  12. My mistake. Meant the Z. Letters are hard.
  13. As much as I want XL to be the X, he'd be a humongous Y in this offense. Get a true X to triple with XL + Coker and that run game with JT as TE1 starts to look even more intimidating......
  14. As the resident center-fanatic, while there isn't a Tyler Linderbaum nor a Creed Humphrey in this draft class, there's some quality guys like Logan Jones worth investing one of our many draft picks in to develop. This is also assuming that the team keeps Christensen and/or Mays.
