  1. There basically is these days. MVP is the best QB while Offensive Player has turned into the best non QB award, which is going to be the case again this year. Allen or Lamar will win MVP while I'd have to imagine Offensive Player is going to be Barkley or Chase. Barkely seems like he's the clear choice with going over 2k, but Chase winning the triple crown by such a wide margin is equally as impressive to me.
  2. Absolutely Lamar's stats gave him a better season, but take Lamar off that team and Henry, the other offensive weapons, and defense still have them competitive with an average QB. Take Allen off the Bills and replace him with that same average QB and they're not making the playoffs. Most Valuable Player, not who had the best season
  3. they're going to make Andrews walk back to Baltimore after today
  4. Campbell is a really good coach, but one who is going to end up having some rough years along the way as well. He's always going to need good coordinators as he's not really an X's and O's HC, which is rather rare, normally a HC is really good on one side of the ball. The more turnover they have year to year on the coaching staff, it's going to end up leading to some down years when he doesn't pick his assistants properly. But when he hits on his OC and DC in a season, then the positives of him being a HC are magnified and his team is going to have a real shot at contending.
  5. wow, that's a potential season ender right there
  6. It's also an INT if Hamlin didn't play that horribly
  7. Hmmmm, wonder if the snow/cold played any factor there on Lamar not being able to make the defender miss there like he usually does.
  8. She will be the halftime show at the first SB after Kelce retires, bank on it
  9. To be fair, Foles didn't get paid until after he won the SB lol
  10. Just went and looked it up, the Ravens also had more passing yards than the Bills this year. There really is no logical argument for the snow helping the Ravens more than the Bills. When one team has more passing yards and a speed/agility running QB than the team with the power running QB, a heavy snow game is clearly going to give the advantage to the Bills, no matter how much it could help Henry's power running game.
  11. I said that in my other post, that yes, it does help Henry because of his power game. But removing Lamar's running threat hurts them on the whole more than they're helped by Henry's power running game. Especially since it then allows the Bills to really focus on Henry and don't need to worry about Lamar quite as much because the snow would slow him down. It basically means the Bills would no longer need to spy Lamar and it gives them an extra man in the box to focus on stopping Henry. Like I said before, it's a net negative even though there is one positive for them with Henry in the snow. While at the same time, the snow probably also helps the Bills running game more, because good luck tackling Allen in those conditions when he runs too. So if it adds to the threat of Allen running but hurts Lamar's running threat, it's another net positive for the Bills.
  12. Interesting, never thought about it until just now, but these new kickoff rules could really screw teams over in a snow game like this if the kicker just isn't physically able to get a proper run up, plant, and kick to get it to the landing zone.
  13. The Bills were the 9th best rushing team this year Lamar had 915 yards rushing this year and is anything but a power runner (what you need in the snow) who's running game is 100% predicated on his speed and ability to cut and make defenders miss. In no way are the Bills more affected by a snow game than the Ravens are because of what it does to Lamar's threat to run.
  14. I actually think it would be a net disadvantage to them. It would help Henry's power running, but it would likely significantly hurt Lamar's running ability who needs good footing to take advantage of his running ability. So it would really allow the Bills to load up the box to focus on Henry and likely end up hurting the Ravens on the whole.
  15. There are far more Eagles fans than either the Rams or Commanders. Plus you then get Jason Kelce talking about the Eagles/SB nonstop for 2 weeks on everything he does, which is going to drive interest, even more so if it's against KC and his brother. The Rams would give you the LA fires storyline a bit, and the Commanders have a passionate fan base that would be getting back to the SB for the first time in a long time, which would be great for those two teams' fans. But in general random NFL fan interest, I don't think either of them would make it a good enough game to bring in viewers who may not be already tuning in regardless of the matchup like the Eagles would. If the Rams had a real LA fan base like the rest of the city's long time teams it would be different. But in reality, the Rams aren't able to take advantage of the huge LA market.
  16. The NFL is so scared right now that the Rams are going to win this game. Either of the Rams/Commanders making the SB would set up for a possible low fan interest game that could turn into a blowout no matter which of the 3 AFC teams make it.
  17. Glenn has to take an HC job if offered to him, defensive coordinators can fall off a cliff in regards to HC interest if they have one horrible year. He's getting a bit of a pass right now because of how banged up that defense is, but if they were to struggle again for a second season, especially if they were healthier, he'd likely lose all interest in him as a HC. Johnson is the interesting one, as this type of loss, combined with the possibility of getting the HC job of whoever gets the #1 pick next year (and lucks into Arch) could very well be the type of thing to get him to come back to Detroit for one last try.
  18. They're only flavors of the month if the offense they run then stops being elite, which I don't see that being the case next year with all the weapons they'll still have there. The Lions would have to stay healthy on offense and completely tank for him to not be a hot name again next year, can't see it happening.
  19. He's not 60, he's 38 and widely regarded as one of the best offensive minds in the game right now, every team with an opening next year would still want him and put out a feeler to see if there is any interest on his end.
  20. I lived in Arizona for 5 years for college, the heat doesn't phase me in the slightest, it's the humidity that gets me. Drop me in 100+ degree dry heat and I'm fine, but 85 in August with Michigan's humidity and I'm dying, you just can't breathe in it, you can taste the water in the air.
  21. There is literally nothing good about the weather here Winters of course suck, summers are too humid, in the spring and fall we'll have days in the same week of seeing snow and 70 degrees. There's probably like 50 good weather days here a here, it's not cool
  22. It won't affect interest, but it COULD affect Johnson's decision to leave, especially if it's for the Raiders. I think it's going to be tougher for him to go to a complete re-build without a QB after a loss like this one and not come back for one last run at a SB and then hopefully land with whatever team gets the #1 pick and Manning.
  23. lol no But you do give Campbell basically a blank check on his OC replacement, as for as good of a HC Campbell is, and he's a great one, he's not an X's and O's genius type, he needs good coordinators to have high level success.
  24. There are 100% still parts of Detroit that if I'm driving there at night, I'm not stopping at a red light if the intersection is clear lol, but yea, it's not the same city that got the bad reputation it can't shed. Spent about a decade working in the heart of downtown, it really was a great place to work (besides the traffic getting in/out of the city). Especially in the late 2010's when they started having all the food trucks come into Campus Martius.
  25. Life long Metro Detroiter myself (besides Arizona for college), people still assume Detroit is "Detroit" and that it's one big poo hole. Sure, there are bad parts of the city, just like there are in every state and major city, but the main downtown area is nothing like its reputation.
