  1. Houston gonna win BY THE SKIN OF THEIR TEETH. CJ did most of the damage in the first half, but looks like he was awful the 2nd. Couldn't get anything going. Also bad decisions to give to Pierce in the red zone. Props to Houston's D though.
  2. CJ definitely having his worst game. Played well first half. Not sure what's happening in the 2nd. He and woods just don't connect well, it seems. Schultz quiet in 2nd half.
  3. Spoke too soon. PJ with a very costly INT.
  4. Cleveland figured out the recipe for beating SF, injure Deebo and CMC.
  5. Browns giving SF all they could want.
  6. If I'm Houston, I need to recognize Pierce just doesn't have it today, especially in the red zone. Singletary is having a better game. Settling for FG's when they should have TD's.
  7. Slightly more difficult without Tank Dell.
  8. PJ Walker playing valiantly against the 49ers.
  9. Right? Most of us are ROOTING for him to succeed...even those of us who have been skeptical.
  10. I can only view the gamecast, but I'm getting almost emotional seeing us actually run the ball.
  11. Bad news is CJ Stroud threw his first pick. Good news for him, the dude fumbled it, gave it back to Houston and CJ threw a TD pass.
  12. I mean, didn't we all suspect Chuba was gonna be more effective than Sanders after watching the first few games?
  13. I hate to say it, but I think Curtis Samuel would be perfect for Young's style of play.
  14. Makes you wonder why it took an injury to get him out of there.
  15. ATL officially wins. Stroud played fine, but not great. Pierce struggled, which is surprising against the Falcons. Learning experience for Stroud. AR injured again. But that's what happens when a QB relies on his physicality.
  16. Yeah, probably his worst game? Looks like a lot of misses to Woods especially. Not sure why because I can't see the game. Still, nice to see he can come from behind...even though ATL is gonna win, barring some TO.
  17. Too bad Ridder's having his best game. Cutting through Houston's D like a hot knife through butter.
  18. Colts are good no matter who is QB or RB.
  19. Detroit does have maybe the best o-line in the NFL, but I'm warming to the idea of a Burns trade.
  20. Believe me, I'm wishing we didn't trade away all those assets for #1 now. We might have been able to trade to get #3 (like Houston did) and keep DJ. But even thinking about it makes me sick.
  21. I went back to some Alabama tape. I think we need weapons who can get themselves open underneath. BY loves to throw underneath. His best deep passes are down the middle. I think maybe one burner WR for go routes, but otherwise we need guys who can get open really quick inside and produce some YAC. Really miss Curtis Samuel, tbh.
  22. I would never say he's a "better" coach. But I think he was better for the Panthers. His style seemed to work. And we hadn't seen anything "work" in a long time.
  23. To be fair, a lot of people here claimed he didn't have great receivers at Alabama, but performed well.
