Steve said in his podcast this week that he would have been too short to play quarterback, he said he has no idea what it takes to play quarterback, said he has no idea the full scope of what’s on a QBs plate and more. You are making a claim about him being asked to do far more than Stroud. I want to know how you know this. Quantify it for me. If your answer is a talking head WR and a random tweet saying so that doesn’t really help. What is the Panthers scheme vs what is the Texans scheme? Show me how you can tell Bryce is being asked to do… “far more”.

Texans Injury Report - their offensive line is still dinged up!

We haven’t. -
The 49ers chose to go with Darnold and send away Lance.

Oh CJ is playing terrific for a rookie. I’m the same every week though. I’m pulling for Panther wins in the lead up and then after the game I go back more towards being critical and looking at analytics. This game through the Bears game are all winnable and we aren’t going winless. This team deserves some wins so I’m hoping we can start something here. Frank is usually good after a bye, too.

And wins and losses are being viewed more and more as a pointless stat as time goes on. ERA is significantly more important. Giving up 10 runs a game but your team scoring 11 doesn’t make you a good pitcher. But your win-loss record would indicate you are. Hence why in recent times people like deGrom have won Cy Young awards over pitcher with a bunch more wins than them.

Mingo didn’t even have big college production in Kiffins fast paced offense. That was my biggest concern around him. I think they had 1k yard receivers every year up until he was the top WR on the roster and he couldn’t get close to it. 861 in year 4. Never a big touchdown guy either. He just… never really produced like a top round pick kind of player.

What id like about this scenario more though is it would at least help our young QB with his development. Trading away your best offensive player who happens to be a young WR to move up for a QB never made much sense to me.

You’ve been wrong about CJ since he got drafted, you literally put up your own money against him in the Steelers game, lost the bet as he threw for a couple touchdowns and 300 yards, and still claim to be some QB Savant. Chill.

Bears would have taken other offers from us if we included DBrown or BBurns. Their top guy was DJ Moore but they were open to others.

You know it's a completely valid take to acknowledge Stroud has outplayed Young so far, right? I have seen progress from Bryce week over week for the most part but it's hard to watch every snap of both offenses and make a determination that we drafted the better QB, so far. I am not hanging my hat on what they did in college. It no longer matters the moment they get drafted. For what they have done in the NFL, CJ, right now, has played better.

Umm I think in your attempt to levy some personal insults my way you got me confused with somebody else. I have been on the Stroud bandwagon since long before the Georgia game last season. I made the first thread for us to draft Stroud. It was literally called Suck Proud for Stroud. I have never not been on the Stroud bandwagon. There’s been no flip flopping to the flavor of the week. Swing and a miss for you.
