  1. What you are seeing, I think, is confirmation that he can’t turn it on at will. He randomly strings together some impressive plays and then randomly goes back to coach killer. It just sort of happens. I guess he wakes up as good Bryce one day, but then he sleeps again and you don’t know what you’re getting the next morning.
  2. Yeah some convoluted value system they concocted and named ‘big time throws’. Maybe that is what you are referring to? I couldn’t really make it make sense to me on a level where I would use that to assign value, over my eyes.
  3. This board? Yeah no influence. But I don’t believe that is entirely true of the overall fan base. Fan opinion in the stadium and around town on signs or whatever has impacted the status of coaches. It could do the same for a player. Basically to me the opinions of fans are a barometer for what might be in the owner’s mind. I am very gun shy.
  4. Sherlock Holmes in the house. No poo. I have no problem admitting that. The threat is real.
  5. I mean poo, you really don’t want to force the game into Bryce’s hands when he is a turnover machine, if you don’t have to. There will be other games for T Max.
  6. It is a miniature Panther. Like Bryce…
  7. cool you got to play against him. I played against a future NFL RB in high school as a LB and went to meet the guy in the hole for the first time and was on the ground looking up at him going down the field. I went at him with my regular effort. Wrong. I redeemed myself after understanding it was a different game and knocked the ball loose in the backfield later on, but man that guy was a load and as fast as the little guys. Mile Voight UNC was the guy, we lost a close one on a poo call. He was the best player I played against in 3 years. By far. The other RBs were the typical thin fast as hell guys. Yeah I rooted for him too. PS I thought RICO was going to be a good signing, looks like he was a great signing.
  8. The bar is low, you haven’t noticed? The team won with him at QB. At least two huge Stan’s maybe three got off his nuts last week and are right back on them.
  9. Well we aren’t getting the top pick whatever the rest of the year looks like, and we aren’t getting in the playoffs either. So in that sense it doesn’t matter. People are afraid that if he plays like this and we win a few, they will keep him. I am definitely one of those people.
  10. Thanks for the perspective. I was gonna turn on the radio broadcast for the 4th qtr but I was so sure they were gonna blow it and I didn’t want to subject myself to it.
  11. I cannot root for any Seattle team but was pretty sure Darnold was better than the pundits at this board gave him credit for. When he loses in the playoffs it will start again. I wouldn’t mind having a playoff game or two to watch even if there is no pot of gold at the end.
  12. That would be a first, calling him out for poor play. I have yet to hear it previously .
  13. They should improve with experience, until they hit that wall.
  14. Stay alive for a week and you shall get your wish.
  15. Probably a higher percentage than getting a clean play connected up.
  16. Not seeing the play, but hearing that, pretty damning. Good for him man. I don’t know if it is being an ex player that makes them go so easy on people but they sure do go easy.
  17. Yeah. Biases. Everyone has them though. Everyone. They are formed through personal experiences. The Bryce love has been irrational here for years now and when we have a win here it comes like clockwork (right twice a day), even if it was in spite of him. I didn’t see the game but followed it - the team hung in and pulled it out instead of giving up 46 or whatever and getting just a TD for ourselves. It was totally a team win and he game managed it and kept in between the ditches. Good for him, it is better than he has been doing. But when we see the W, we know someone is coming with the crown. Most of us are probably pretty cynical at this point in the game. It comes with 7 plus years of fuging up and he is the current poster child for that. This game could be a great confidence builder for the defense and for a few guys on offense too, but we will probably need to replace little man if we expect to contend for anything.
  18. Man…. I am on an old iPad lately and with my old eyes I have to zoom to read stuff and it obscures the avatars. But when I read one of your posts I know who it is without looking. Congratulations for being right about him but you beat it to death. One note. Same note. Like C jam blues. The people around him doing something get more attention and leave him with less. At this point he is a great decoy and needs other players to take some attention off of him.
  19. Get her a kitten man. I am a no pet person because I have no one to take care of them when I am not here, which used be a lot of the time. But I inherited one from my mom and we are pretty good buddies now. edit if they don’t like you much, get a brush. You will be ‘in’.
  20. Him being as good as he is, and not having a TD is shameful. I’m not going all Tuka worship on him but we nailed that pick. Gonna add though, if the guys around him can do anything, he will get his TDs. Might be a thing that once he gets the first one the damn breaks. But we need a different QB for that probably.
  21. I didn’t hear that but cool I am glad to hear of it. Schlereth, there is a reason his nickname is ‘Stink’.
  22. Punting looked horrible, if I were a Miami fan I would have been livid. But they got the ball back with 55 seconds or something and only needed a FG for OT. They had just scored a TD in probably less time. So I think it was defensible, technically.
  23. When people don’t really have an argument, the insults come out.
