  1. Well, you have it all figured out. I am not going to write multiple more essays to ry and change your mind. I don’t see some of the locker room issues being as dire as what you are interpreting, they are professionals after all and hopefully the character standards they have seemingly applied to who comes into that locker room will serve us well. And you know, there is more than one way to skin a little cat with 9 lives
  2. I hear you. But I am not absolving Legette just because he is from my neck of the woods or anything else. Tge comment was more about the fans uneven application of blame. I do agree that there is a noticeable disconnect between him and the QB and that he might do better with a more polished and capable delivery man. Abd don’t feel that they used XL right, or at least how I expected it to look. And that could be a function of a reticent WB that shies away from that style of attack. I mean it was either him or Canales that pretty much eliminated downfield from the playbook - even while we see guys running free at times. It Could work if they commit to it. Whoever isn’t committing.
  3. Lot of passion there. Look, if Bryce plays down to the level that we feel the need to draft a QB high, you don’t think the locker room might be ready for anything that helps them win? There are s lot of angles to this that could come into play depending on what happens this year.
  4. Sure. Except I would be very surprised to see him have to settle for a DC position. Especially under a guy with the experience level of Canales.
  5. Well I don’t think the author is exactly on the speed dial for insiders. Y’all remember speed dial, right? It (his list) is basically a fan’s opinion.
  6. Yeah. Duty is clear, belief is optional. He may believe it. Or need to believe it.
  7. Lol yeah but let Legette only get one foot down and hell breaks loose. If it weren’t for double standards…..you know the rest.
  8. Well you are the one that compared it to Minnesota even though it is a different dynamic. And they may well do exactly as you suggest. There is no way to know what will happen anyway until we see if Junior can actually step up enough to make it sn issue. I just think a deal is a deal. A contract should be honored by both sides, and there is nothing that requires us to throw away 26.6 mil to keep from upsetting a player who is under contract. I would absolutely play hardball if it came to it.
  9. They can do other gigs alongside those jobs. Or around them. If you get one of those jobs you can get an agent, you might need one to get the gig But they can supplement that game day money There is a lot of stuff they can do during the week I don’t know what Rosinski has been doing but once I saw the Masters or the US Open or something and he was part of the team .
  10. That’s a good find. We will see. Who is still here from when he was?
  11. Yeah I agree. I need to see Bryce be that much better. If he is t why would we ever pay him? This is all just be at this point anyway until we see some season play out. It’s kind of like mock drafts though: if A happens then what is our move? If B happens what is our move? And there should be more than one option. You have to work through them. There are definitely a few ways this could go.
  12. Sorry too late to edit. 36.5 mil is obviously wrong. ahould have been 26.5 probably 36.5 if you ate the money and signed a bridge guy like some people want to do. It is way early though to really do anything but speculate and look at all the angles. So I am looking and speculating.
  13. Of course you keep your options open as long as you can. If he has a crappy year this year you are still on the hook for 2027 it would make it easier to move on though. If he does his customary elevate his play by a baby step in 2026 then you have to draft someone. Or bring someone in. Preferably draft. But you really do not have decide on him until after 2027 is done. You wouldn’t have to franchise him until 2028 and that only if he came close to being that valuable. Like I said elsewhere if he blows up then might be able to still sign him instead of tagging him. Being nice to Theilen at the end of his career is one thing. Being nice to a guy you have carried for four years at a big cost to you, is not mandatory. Thete is no reason I see to make things harder on ourselves at the cost of 36.5 million us what it costs to pay another QB is self defeating. just saying
  14. Lol did you hear me the first two times? I have been getting errors and cloud flare timeouts like I got last time the board went down. Sorry for the echo.
  15. You pay him If he has a breakthrough season. Obviously finally getting some real competition was what he needed. If that isn’t possible you franchise him. You have not lost anything you have probably a first round QB behind him. If you want to you can flip him. Or you do things the old way and groom him. That is what Minnesota should have done

  18. Maybe ranking him near the bottom third included demerits? He is one slot from bottom 10 so I guess he might as well be in the bottom third. What I was seeing is that after a few obvious names the guy seemed to be pretty random as to where he slotted people. He gave Beane a nice grade. And he just fired a coach that pulled them from the ashes and kept them up high for years. Let’s see how that works out. also Beane took a WR immediately after Legette that hasn’t been any better. If even as good. I guess he or someone hit on the QB and gets him over. Which, yeah that is a big deal.
  19. How the hell did I miss or forget that?
  20. That is sort of the thing. It isn’t that I wanted him to fail. It is that I totally believed he would fail - to be a franchise level player that they seem to be waiting on him to become. How many years do you willingly waste? I was at zero when this started over three years ago. I don’t really buy it, I never thought they were giving up in 2024, but I saw it said recently that if not for Andy’s car accident it would have been over for him. And then last year when the team (Rico) pulled his ass from the fire vs Miami I think it was after yet another of his early season tank jobs. They had Rea and the other I guess Raleigh sports radio guy doing a postgame saying exactly that after that game. Imma start calling him by his Indian name : Little Cat with 9 Lives
  21. Yeah we do. And still potentially on OL too. Couple other groups. NYG just had a rotation DT go down with an Achilles after trading Lawrence, shows you how fast things can flip. Specifically on Lloyd, if healthy there is no way he is not a substantial upgrade. Even if he falls short of the high expectations he will be a noticeable improvement over what we had. Phillips is an injury risk but otherwise should be a big upgrade that raises the overall pressure level even if he doesn’t go off sack wise. Scourton? I don’t see a reason to think he will not be better. He was like 20 years old last year wasn’t he? He should get better quick. Horn is a concern, especially with the late concussion and no real info on how he is doing with that going forward.
  22. And no one here has inside the room info on exactly what terms Canales was given. My thing is, Bryce was so unfixable that to hold Anyone, not specifically Canales, to a fix him or bust standard is completely unreasonable. I can’t say that is not the deal. I can’t say I wouldn’t have taken it myself, even believing there was no way he could be made into what Tepper wants him to be. But no one should be condemned for failing to make that kid into a top 12 QB. It is one the level of turning water into wine.
  23. Lol. I love DB but not so much for his opinion on QBs other than he should want to hurt them
