Yeah I watched an edited version of the Rams X Clown game this morning. I forgot we blew a pretty good lead late. Hoover looked better than I remembered. Of all the things to say about the game but he did. Stephen Davis, beast.

My biggest issue is the the name of that stat. And the lie it encourages. Spare me the hype until it is justified. Big Time Throws, to my mind, are what he has a chance to make tomorrow. Me too. I missed the ‘96 fun because I had no internet and was living in Atlanta and could only see them play if I went to a bar for a national game or they were playing the Falcons. Other years I was usually traveling on Sundays. By ‘02 I was back in SC and had dial up internet and discovered fan forums and was free most Sundays to watch. ‘03 was my first really involved successful season to experience and it will remain my favorite.

Eager might have been PFF at some point but he came to us from a company that Thomas Dimitrof was part of, I don’t know much about it or even remember the name but it was newly formed and was a consultant type of operation. Supposed to be all about analytics and helping teams in that area. I read about it a couple of years ago. I read so much stuff I can’t really keep it all on file in the brain but that’s what I remember.

I see it all too. What put some people in the mode was they wanted McConkey. They have wanted XL to fail and just had it in for him. I see what he does and those people were right but people have been dogging him mercilessly since he dropped that ball vs Philly I guess it was. The Bryce stans really hated him for that. I stopped defending him this year because I can see too. I am just slower to condemn. Normally. To me, a miss on him is small potatoes where we took him. I mean it isn’t good but it isn’t setting the franchise back 5 years or anything. I am pretty good about accepting some misses. And we got Coker in that same season. Part of the rookie class. Wash, more or less. You can quibble that Coker is a 2nd or 3rd value and doesn’t make up for it if you want. You want to get on my bad side, start trading future 1st round picks. That is what sets me off.

Yeah I am usually really amused when I look over there. Sometimes face palm amused. If I see something that I just can’t tolerate I will drop a little something and not stick around for the fallout. I just don’t know what to say about some of it. But I am jaded. Been watching a long time. Not easily bullshitted.
