  1. Why would he need to transition? Paradis is terrible.
  2. I was just a general NFL fan. I had favorite players much more so than favorite teams.
  3. Is there really anyone we have on the bubble this year that would have people howling? With TC coverage practically non-existent we don't really have any TC heroes this year.
  4. We could've sent that pick to Jax for Minshew. Or gone after an OL. Or a LB. But noooooooo... we seek to bolster maybe our deepest position on defense with a total JAG.
  5. Yep. Filled up both vehicles tonight.
  6. It's possible, but they'll be looking more at his overall offensive design than the execution. Teams weren't exactly beating down the Jets' door for Sam Darnold.
  7. Well, I think this "discussion" had pretty much ran its course at this point.
  8. I just despise crowds and cities in general. No use for them personally. Being within a few hours for the occasional trip to a game or museum or the like is plenty good enough for me. I sure wouldn't want to live in a major metro area.
  9. Oh, I would fuging HATE it there.
  10. The going is gonna get tough at some point and the ones that aren't cut out for it will crack when it does. If a guy isn't ready from a grasp of the offense standpoint then there's no reason to put him out there but if he has the offense down and is ready to go from a preparation standpoint then I don't think you do him any good sitting him.
  11. I'm kinda of the opinion that if they crack and fold it was gonna happen anyway. You're either mentally cut out for this league or you're not.
  12. I'll believe it when I see it but if Zach Wilson is a hit they might. As Panthers fans know, the right QB can float a lot of turds.
  13. Hasn't Seattle had one of the worst OLs in the league in recent seasons? Not sure their castoffs are the ones I want.
  14. Burns has a great shot because I think he's putting up double digit sacks. Chinn will need INTs. DBs go to the Pro Bowl on INTs.
  15. Ultimately, they're fighting a losing battle. They're going to eventually lose to rising sea levels. It's inevitable. It's probably time to start drawing up the withdrawal plan.
  16. And that's after heavy government subsidization via FEMA. It's probably time to stop subsidizing it, at least for new loans. I don't want to rip the rug out from under people already grandfathered in but it's time to stop making the problem worse. Yeah, it's gonna screw people and their property values but sorry. Somebody is gonna get caught holding the bag at the end of the day.
  17. Well, we actually did pay for a Brady. He's at OC and he's already getting HC interviews. It'd be nice to capitalize on his talent before he inevitably jumps ship.
  18. Meh, some coaches want to handle their starting QB with kid gloves and don't want them feeling any pressure looking over their shoulder. I think we have one ourselves.
  19. The phone goes both ways. I'm sure the Jags made calls from their end too before they took Philly's offer.
  20. It's gonna take drastic action. Most people just have this natural tendency to expect things to stay the way they are. My wife was actually seriously talking about looking into buying a beach house on Edisto. I was like, you're kidding right? She wasn't. Look at this place. It's just an overgrown sand bar. You can't get more than a few feet above sea level. A lot of these houses will probably be underwater in our lifetime. I wouldn't touch real estate on this island with any long-term interests in mind.
  21. It's true. Sea levels are rising. Hurricanes are getting stronger as a whole. That's not debatable. The clock is ticking loudly for New Orleans. For Miami. For Charleston. For the Outer Banks. For pretty much all low lying coastal areas for that matter.
  22. I think if we were going to do it, we would've made the deal for Minshew.
  23. I like PJ's willingness to throw the ball down the field. I don't like his ineffectiveness at throwing the ball down the field.
