  1. Average strength of schedule. Overall, Boise's was significantly weaker over the last three seasons.
  2. 2024: Boise - 66, UNC - 70 2023: Boise - 69, UNC - 49 2022: Boise - 89, UNC - 49 Average over their careers: Boise - 75, UNC - 56
  3. Virtually the same. 66 vs. 70. Meanwhile, Hampton was also UNC's 3rd leading receiver because he was basically the entire offense. Boise actually had a competent passing attack.
  4. He looked very ordinary against the one good defense he played against.
  5. This. A trade down honestly sounds like a good idea but getting fleeced just to say we traded down doesn't. I'd rather take the BPA at #8 than move down for considerably less than traditional market value.
  6. If Watts is available that's a huge red flag. That would probably scream that he's washed. He's coming off of the fewest sacks of his career since his rookie season aside from his one injury shortened season and he's on the wrong side of 30 now. These are the types of guys good organizations grade cashing in on the name value. It's confusing to Panthers fans because these are the types of guys the Panthers have historically backed up the Brinks truck to give career achievement contracts vs. "what do we expect moving forward" contracts.
  7. I honestly don't know that we could get a 2nd. I'm just saying that if I was calling the shots for the Bengals that would make a lot of sense to me. I've been watching my MVP caliber QB take an absolute beating his entire career. A 2nd rounder to help curb that even if for the relative short term seems like a well spent 2nd rounder. At 31 with potential knee issues, Moton probably isn't the long-term solution for them but he could definitely be a 2-3 year bandaid.
  8. It's the type of forward thinking operating that has rarely been seen from this organization. It's the type of thing done by well ran organizations fairly regularly.
  9. It really doesn't seem all that split to be honest. Kinda felt that way a month or so ago but all the recent smoke has been pointing toward Walker > Williams. Does that actually mean anything? I guess we'll know soon enough. Honestly kinda hoping for just a massive curveball pick out of the blue just to enjoy the Huddle reaction. LOL
  10. The way the draft board is projected to fall it's not out of the question at all that the BPA at #8 very well could be an OT. I expect NE to go OT but that might be the only OT off the board before us. If NE doesn't go OT Maye should demand a trade.
  11. Yeah, I don't see how it'd be worth it only involving this year's picks. Not very familiar with the Steelers roster but I guess its possible a player could be involved in a potential trade.
  12. I do think that if there's a massive curveball thrown at #8 it's an OT. There's a lot of smoke signaling that OT is probably a lot higher on our need list than most fans would expect. We look fine on paper this year but after this year it's super cloudy and taking an OT at #8 would probably open the door to trading Moton now. I mean, look at a team like the Bengals. Joe Burrow has been taking an unholy beating. If I'm them I'd send us a 2nd rounder for Moton without a second thought because they're shortening Burrow's career behind these OLs. I almost expect an OT to be taken by us somewhere in the first three rounds.
  13. I don't know, that workout warrior who never had more than a sack and a half in a season and put up the tackle numbers of a rotational two down NT seems like a guy most people should vehemently not want with a top 10 pick.
  14. Same. Shemar Stewart is my hate pick and Jalon Walker is my mild preference but mainly just a long for the ride like you said.
  15. Yeah, but there aren't 142 starters. 64th out of 142 puts him in bottom of the barrel starter/good backup range.
  16. Seems like the most likely possible scenario and one of happily take. He just had to get by the Raiders which doesn't sound likely.
  17. I voted no because of this. I definitely think that we want to but I just doubt that we'll find a dance partner unless we're willing to get fleeced in the trade.
  18. Its possible. If you want to roll with Darnold you HAVE to protect him. We've all seen what happens when Sam Darnold enters panic mode.
  19. I could see them taking someone like Dart or Shough at #33. But honestly, taking Shedeur Sanders #2 overall would be very on brand for the Cleveland Browns.
  20. Except that our 1st round pick has been obvious for years now.
  21. I definitely think that we want to. I'm just not sure that we find a dance partner unless we're willing to take less (possibly considerably less) than traditional draft pick value chart value for our pick.
  22. It's about the importance of the position. If you don't have a QB you can't compete so if you don't have one it's kinda like fug it, let's roll the dice. Especially at the top of the draft where the rookie wage scale protects you from having to pay these kids like proven future HOFers.
  23. I always get lectured every year when we inevitably win some meaningless late season games to tank our draft position that we're building culture and you always have to try to win no matter what. This is why that's bullshit. Once you're out of contention it's to your competitive advantage to LOSE.
  24. It's called being a fan of a bad team. The draft is our version of the playoffs.
