    Shaq is already starting to quietly talk retirement and Luvu is going into a contract season. You don't spend draft picks with only their rookie season in mind.

    When people start hyper focusing on Williams as an NFL prospect they're gonna realize he holds onto the ball foooreeeerever. I'm not sold on him translating to the NFL if he can't speed up his processing.

    I think there's a good chance that we end up trading down... from #39. I don't see a wheeler and dealer like Fitts just sitting on his hands from #39 to #94. Wouldn't surprise me to see us do something to get an extra day three pick or too as well. There's just two sections of the draft when there's gonna be a lot of picks made without us. Fitts is gonna wanna be in the action.

    Yep. Draft 'em, let someone else pay them their second contract. IMO you should be drafting a mid-late round RV at least every other season. It's a churn and burn position. If you have an elite athlete kid who wants to play football, make sure he isn't playing RB.

    Nah, it's awesome. Drafting a RB in the top 10 is a colossal mistake.

    There's a difference between cocky and confident. The difference IMO is the realization that you still gonna have to work your ass off and put you all into it to be great. The cocky guys think they're just too damn good to possibly fail.

    I get Josh Rosen vibes. Dude comes across super cocky. Not "I can be great if I work my ass off and put everything I have into this" confident. More like "I'm just too damn good to possibly fail and this is gonna be easy" cocky.

    We've made the moves to potentially do it. I thought we were gonna sign a safety but I expected a FS type. That's still low key one of our bigger roster holes. I see folks talking about WR, CB, EDGE, etc. but FS isn't far behind IMO.

    Just saying. Him and Von Bell are basically redundant. Don't be shocked if it happens. Like Fitts said, you can't re-sign everybody.

    Probably about the same at OSU. I still think they lose to UGA and I doubt Young would've played any better than Stroud in that game. Not sure how Stroud would've cared at Bama. OSU had the better offensive talent this year, both receiving and on the OL.

    I don't see us drafting at #39 and then sitting patiently until while 54 picks get made before we're back on the clock. A potential trade down from #39 makes sense. Seeing Jeremy Chinn moved wouldn't shock me. I hope we don't do it but we sure have made moves to make it possible.

    Yeah, it's just forced comps for clicks. I mean think back to 2011. Who in the world are you comparing Cam Newton to? There just wasn't a comp.

    The win is to just accept he's not gonna be the pick. Honestly, if I was making the pick it's Richardson if I think he has it between the ears. You can't coach his physical tools. But I'm not gonna derail every thread with poo posts about Richardson because I'm butt hurt. I'm just gonna hope that when it's all said and done we make the right pick.

    The more I think about it the more I honestly think this decision likely came down to Young vs. Richardson. Elite mental processing vs. elite physical skill set.

    With the Stroud contingent hanging their hat so hard on that particular measurable I expected a lot more significant gap than that.

    Honestly, I think so. We don't want a situation like when the Eagles drafted McNabb. That's just a bad look for the franchise. You don't wanna throw a draft party in your stadium to welcome in your new franchise QB and then have that happen.
