Evil Knievel would have to have a helluva bike to jump it.

I could see Brissett keeping the seat warm for Hooker if a trade up scenario doesn't materialize. That would be an extremely uninspiring scenario.

He has elite NFL arm talent. No doubt about it. If you give me the choice between Justin Fields and say Will Levis I'm taking Justin Fields all day everyday no hesitation. Seems pretty obvious at this point that the Bears choose Fields over the entire '23 draft class field.

Going to be 80 degrees here (NC) tomorrow...meanwhile

I think every generation in human history has thought they were living during the end of times. -
Collusion is certainly possible but it's also possible that the NFL at large has caught wind of Lamar's contract demands and has no interest in coming close to them. If Lamar had played at an MVP level and stayed healthy last year there would likely be no shortage of potentially suitors. The reality is that Lamar has struggled with injuries the past two seasons and his play has suffered for it. He's not in a great position at the moment to demand a historic contract.

I wouldn't mind Brissett as a bridge guy. Hell, the Giants just spent $40M+ per year on Jacoby Brissett level play.

Louisville has to be one of the very worst ACC teams ever.

You gotta give up two 1st rounders PLUS offer a contract the Ravens are unwilling to match. Even if you hammer out a deal with Lamar the Ravens can simply step in and say, "Hey, thanks for doing the negotiations for us. We'll do that deal."

I have no idea what to believe in lying season about the interviews. But if we take Richardson I sure hope we were blown away. There are zero questions about his physical talent. He's literally one of the best raw talent QB prospects ever. All the questions come down to how coachable he is and what you think he can develop into. If you're not very impressed in the interviews you should probably just pass.

There's just sooooo many variables involved and plenty of them have nothing to do with talent level. How is this kid going to handle being made a millionaire overnight? Will his game translate to the NFL? Is he going to be put in a good organizational/coaching/schematic system for him to thrive? Does he have the mental makeup to succeed at the NFL level? How is he going to adapt when everyone is almost as talented as he is? The raw talent is fairly obvious in a lot of cases. There was a TON to like about Zach Wilson in terms of raw talent but I'm pretty sure if I'd spent three minutes in an interview with him I'd been like... "uh... fug. RUN AWAY!" LOL!

Yeah, it was alarming when they felt the need to put a film study clause in his contract and then those comments from his former teammate Adrian Peterson about "Kyler Murray don't care about NOBODY but Kyler Murray". Like... damn. Y'all should've traded that dude for whatever you could've gotten and moved on.

I honestly expect every team that brings him on for a visit to have him step on a scale. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he doesn't re-weigh at his pro day. If he does and then goes through drills then I'll shut up about it. Yeah, he could tank up with water and add 5-6 pounds or so and then go take a leak before drills but that's about it.

Robbie Anderson is now Chosen Anderson
LinvilleGorge replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I pretty much just give the guy a pass on mocking him mainly because I honestly think he may be mentally handicapped. -
This would just be too much. Same will he or won't he crap as Favre, then end up traded to the Jets? Is he gonna send dick picks to some chick before ending up in Minnesota next?

The folks who don't like Verge... the thread is clearly titled. If you don't care about her input that's cool. Just don't click and don't participate. It's real easy.

BRAKING: Panthers plan to release Damien Wilson
LinvilleGorge replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wouldn't shock me. I fully expect him to either be extended or released. Surely we aren't gonna let him hit us for $25M this year.
