3/12 for 26 yards and 3 INTs. He has three completions for 26 yards. Meanwhile the Chargers have 35 return yards off of the three picks. The Chargers have more receiving yards off Lawrence than the Jags do.

I think they want to hype Lawrence. They want him to play well. I don't think they really care who wins this game. Neither team is likely to go past the next round and the Chargers are highly unlikely to be hosting in LA either way.

Purdy has looked good since he took over. Do I think it'll last? Honestly, no. But he also looks better than Trey Lance ever did. We can't deny that.

Oh, I agree. I really do wonder if the rumors are true that they made the trade to target Jones then let all the backlash talk them out of making the pick? Than again, it's not like Jones would've been a good pick either but you also have to wonder how he'd look in that offense surrounded with those weapons. It'd be like being back in Tuscaloosa.

I give them credit for taking their shot. They had a complete roster that gave them the luxury of taking that risk. It just look like they chose poorly. Imagine if Lance was the real deal. Could you imagine what this team could be doing with a truly elite talent at QB? Yikes.

This. Purdy deserves a ton of credit for playing as well as he has but he's in the perfect situation. It's a QB's dream.

Performed decently while Mr. Irrelevant looks like Tom Brady in that same offense with the same weapons. Shanahan is brilliant and they have elite YAC weapons everywhere.

They're showing Niners highlights right now. It's unreal how open those guys were getting. I guess that's what happens when you're both running the ball at will and have elite receivers. Oh, and a great offensive mind on the sidelines.

I honestly hope the Jags get beatdown. The NFL desperately wants to throw their whole hype machine behind Lawrence. Lawrence, Lawrence, Lawrence. I hope he throws three picks and adds a couple of fumbles for good measure.
