  1. From the Texas football I've watched, Ewers flat out fuging sucks. Full stop. That kid has a bunch of developing to do.
  2. Well, the physically traits certainly aren't coachable. The others may or may not be depending on a kid's coachability and mental make up. We can see the physical traits watching them play. We have very limited insight into the coachability aspect.
  3. Tepper "just sees football differently..." That motherfuger "sees" football like Ray Charles.
  4. Our defense has the ability to make 4th stringers look like All-Americans.
  5. Levis is literally a man playing against boys. He'll be 24 before he ever puts on an NFL uniform. I think some folks are way overshooting his ceiling overlooking that he should be considerably further along in his development than most other prospects.
  6. I honestly don't think I've seen anyone make that argument either. You need both. I think what you've seen argued is that Richardson has very intriguing talent IF you think he can be developed and you've interpreted that as thinking everything CAN be coached up.
  7. Say what? CeeDee Lamb is damn near the Cowboys' entire receiving offense.
  8. Whoever we draft we need to have that type of plan. I don't want to repeat the "we have Cam Newton and he can carry the offense so let's just focus on D" mistake again.
  9. If progress is being made why not? I mean, we've stomached utter trash for years. It's be a lot more promising to watch a young talented QB grow than watch cast off vets just suck out loud.
  10. The interview and background process is a huge part of the evaluation that we get minimal insight into as fans and it's utterly vital and anything that does come out is likely to be misinformation.
  11. Go back and watch Josh Allen in college. You're gonna be shocked. When I say he was wildly inaccurate I'm not exaggerating. Dude couldn't hit water from a fuging boat.
  12. This. Yeah, I get the size concerns with Young. Yeah I get the concerns that Stroud might not translate if he was on a lesser team. Yeah, I fully get that Richardson is boom or bust. But damn it, at some point you gotta take your swing. If you whiff swing again. None of the best young QBs currently in the league were slam dunk prospects. They all had significant question marks.
  13. Fug NC State. I hate Carolina lost to fuging Georgia Tech but at the end of the day that loss will cost us nothing if we take care of business going forward. We weren't going to the playoffs anyway. All winning out would've done was give us a leg to stand on while we were whining. Go and beat Clemson and we're still the ACC champs and heading to the Orange Bowl. Beat state along the way because fug 'em.
  14. Oh lord, another self proclaimed QB guru emerges. Whenever you think player evaluation boils down to one very specific metric, you can rest assured that you're missing a LOT.
  15. I mean, I'd rather spend a 2nd round pick on a boom/bust prospect than dump $50M+ into Gesicki. If you think that's outlandish, go look at Dawson Knox's stats vs. Gesicki's. Knox got $53M over 4 years with $30M+ guaranteed.
  16. With his measurables I won't be shocked if he sneaks into the late 1st. I mean, imagine if you're the Cowboys. CeeDee Lamb is damn near your entire receiving offense. If you think this kid can be a Darren Waller type and there's not a receiver you absolutely love on the board, how do you pass on him?
  17. Don't get me wrong. I won't be surprised if he's a MUCH better pro. It's just that level of production (or rather lack of it) is eye opening for a supposed top prospect. I mean, if this guy is a Darren Waller type player and that's who he reminds me of in terms of height/weight/athleticism then damn... UGA has been really misusing him.
  18. My one and only (huge) reservation is how has such an amazing athletic specimen produced at such a completely pedestrian level? He has 41 catches for 712 yards and 2 TDs in his entire three year college career. Yeah, you definitely see flashes of elite ability. But damn... I mean that's some truly uninspiring production. Two TDs for a guy who should be a top redzone target? It just doesn't make sense.
  19. Age is the big difference with Levis. Richardson and Allen are/were significantly younger. If you're counting on someone to develop significantly, age has to be a big factor. The younger guy has a better chance of being further away from his ceiling. Levis will be 24 on the opening day of his rookie season. Allen was 24 during his third NFL season, the season when the lightbulb came on and he emerged as a legit elite NFL QB.
  20. Wow. That was a GREAT tackle to keeping that WR inbounds. That andac Jones taking a sack on the previous play pretty much guaranteed the Pats had no shot to pull off a last second miracle. Well, that having to get well within FG range to get into hail mary range for Mac Jones to get a ball into the endzone.
  21. For the record, when Mac Jones was coming out in the draft I said his NFL ceiling was Kirk Cousins. I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise.
  22. Mac Jones just put absolutely everything he had into that and it went maybe 50 yards.
  23. Remember when Dak Prescott got hella pissed when Amari Cooper called him the "black Kirk Cousins"? The guy has a reputation in the league. Maybe it's fair, maybe it's not. Maybe he'll change it with some better team success. But he has a reputation.
