I agree with this. Hell, the odds of Josh Allen becoming Josh Allen was astronomical.
-
Oh, we're desperate. And if we're desperate I'd MUCH rather roll the dice on Richardson than Levis.
-
Richardson >>>>> Levis in terms of pure raw talent. Richardson is also a couple years younger. Listen, if you held a gun to my head and made me say yay or nay on Richardson is say nay. I'm just saying in intrigued on a pure talent basis if he checks the boxes in interviews. Levis? I'm all the way out on him. I think he's an NFL backup. He's Kenny Pickett 2.0 and I was saying this time last year I wouldn't even look at Picket prior to the 3rd.

You're just a troll. You have no desire to debate. You come with the same bullshit angle in every thread. You just want to act like a guy who knows something no one else does just to take an alternative stance and then try to argue it. You aren't smart. You aren't unique. You're just a troll.
-
Of course he isn't perfect. But he also threw what should've been the game winner. This is a sub .500 team minus Drake Maye. The Heels have been awful for years minus Sam Howell and Drake Maye.
-
You didn't watch the game troll. Go away.
-
Hell no it wasn't. It wasn't his fault Josh Downs dropped a perfectly thrown TD pass. It wasn't his fault that Longo is an awful situational play caller. It wasn't his fault that Chizik had no recognition that GT was telling him exactly what they planned to do based on who they put on the field at QB. There's no such thing as a perfect football player but take Drake Maye and Sam Howell away from UNC football over the past four years and we look like Vanderbilt.
-
Drake Maye lost to GT tonight. Was it his fault?
-
Rattler has #1 overall talent. He is UDFA between the ears. I'd be willing to roll the dice on him starting about the 6th.
-
I agree. He's a total anomaly. By all means Josh Allen should've been a bust. But how is Allen in college any different than Richardson except for Richardson facing a much higher level of opposition? They're basically the same guy.
-
He has the raw talent. Would I bet on him? Honestly I'm not sure I would. I've said repeatedly that I've never seen anyone make anywhere close to the strides as a pure passer that Josh Allen did. Not even close. I just thought that Allen coming out of college was a guaranteed bust. He checked every bust box. Cannon arm. Plus athleticism. No accuracy. No consistency. No big time clutch moments. But he hit. Big time. That changed my outlook. I'm of the opinion now that you rol the dice on a guy with all the talent if he sells you during interviews. So I won't complain if we take him or if we don't since I can't sit in on the interviews. It all cokes.down to that factor for Richardson IMO.
-
@Shockerbe honest, did you ever actually watch Josh Allen in college? Forget the NFL. Did you ever watch him in COLLEGE? It really doesn't seem like it.
-
Yeah he is. He isn't near the runner and overall athlete that Cam was. He's a plus athlete and runner with a cannon arm with sporadic accuracy just like Josh Allen was. Cam Newton was miles ahead of Josh Allen coming out of a college. Fuging MILES.
-
Neither could Allen in college. You just saw glimpses. He was a roughly 55% passer and it wasn't because his receivers sucked. It was because he sprayed the ball all over the place.
-
Yeah he is. Saying he's closer to Allen than Cam is a knock on him IMO vs. the other way. Cam might honestly be the most physically talented QB ever.
-
fug no. Levis is Sam Darnold without the arm talent. I'm telling you, Richardson is scary similar to Allen in college. Said by someone who watched way more Wyoming football than 99% of America living in CO at the time prior to having kids. They look like the same guy at the college level.
-
I can anticipate the absolute fugery of calls now.
-
Don't fall for Ryan Leaf 2.0.
-
I honestly don't even think it's that bold. Young has everything you want except for the fact that he has the size of a slot receiver. That's a significant problem. Stroud... ugh. I'm just not convinced that he's not a guy who is a great college QB who is a JAG at the NFL level. What does he look like if he's not surrounded by talent that is head and shoulders above his opposition? Richardson? Yeah, he has Josh Allen type raw talent but when have we ever seen another guy make Josh Allen level leaps at the NFL level? Levis? fuging please. I'd rather draft a long snapper.
-
Dude has very legit arm talent. There's no such thing as a sure thing in the NFL draft but I'd honestly feel a lot more comfortable with Maye or Williams than anyone draft eligible this year. Like by a long shot.
-
He's just a man among boys. Like Pickett last year. A guy benefitting from playing as man amongst boys due to an extra COVID year. I'm still shocked the Steelers were that dumb.
-
I was saying prior to this game that we had to go into the ACC CG with only 1 loss to have a shot. I've seen the movie play out before when Clemson has a shot at the playoffs playing a team that doesn't. Carolina coming out on the short end of every debatable call tonight killed any argument duke may have had.
-
Maye and Williams would be duking it out for the #1 pick if they were draft eligible this year. As a Panthers fan I'd be thrilled to have either.
-
If you'd told me at the beginning of the season we'd be 9-2 I'd be thrilled. That still doesn't make snatching defeat from the jaws of victory against a 4-6 GT team anymore palatable. Especially for what that means lying ahead in the ACC CG. Prepare to see the highest level of bullshit call/no calls you've seen since SB50.

Please stop.
