  1. In the TB? Yep, attacks are open season.
  2. I think even dumbass Fhule can look and see the Rodgers, Wilson, and Watsons of the market. Of course, Fhule might put Jimmy G just barely a notch below them.
  3. I've always thought we should replace it with something like this I mean, that's usually what the poo emoji signifies 99% of the time. You're triggered and want that known but you can't articulate a rational intelligent response. poo basically = triggered beyond words
  4. Burrow is a stud but ultimately I think that OL will be their undoing. Their OL is low key every bit as bad as ours. They just have Joe Burrow and NFL caliber coaching.
  5. Trading valuable draft assets and taking on a $24M in salary for Jimmy G seems pretty bad.
  6. There's so many better landing spots right now. No vet with other good options is coming here to play for a coach who looks way in over his head, is probably on the hot seat, and if you're a QB behind a terrible OL. Like our sorry OL additions showed last year, the only vets we're getting are the ones we're willing to overpay - and we were nowhere near as bad of a destination last year since the Panthers were generally competitive last year on the way to an overall poor W-L record. We weren't competitive this year and the deeper into the season we got the worse we looked. Not good.
  7. Likely all but confirms what I've been suspecting - the Broncos are going all in on wooing Aaron Rodgers this off-season
  8. I think I first mentioned Jimmy G as ultimately the most likely candidate almost a month ago.
  9. I think it's highly likely that he swings for a top tier vet option (again), gets laughed at (again), then settles for grossly overpaying for a bargain bin level vet (again). This will likely rinse and repeat until he's fired.
  10. You have repeatedly personally attacked people for simply holding a different view of draft prospects than you do. You take this stuff way too personally. I just laugh at you when it's directed toward me but when you direct it towards others I gotta do something about it.
  11. Big splash vet, 1st round QB, or stick with Darnold should be the only three options. Enough with these third tier vet acquisitions. We've sank enough resources into them and the results are going to keep being the same.
  12. Clear franchise guys are never available at #6. They go at the very top of the draft.
  13. I should probably take that pretty seriously since it comes from a documented expert in the matter.
  14. Well, since most of the hot takes are likely out of the way I might as well go ahead and roll out my NFL comp. Keep in mind this comp is based primarily on playing style and competitive fire. I'm not saying Howell will ultimately come anywhere close to this as a pro (he almost certainly won't) and I DID previously say there would need to be a TRIGGER WARNING attached...
  15. Now we're getting to the types of hot takes I fully expected.
  16. Edge rushers and OTs are premium positions and this draft has some nice ones at the top. I could see a team willing to make a move for one of them.
  17. NFL teams don't really care about Heismans. Hell, they really don't care about what you did at the college level at all. They care about how you project to the NFL level and they still get a lot wrong every year. Just the way it goes.
  18. If Howell played at OU he would've probably had a Heisman worthy season while UNC would be coming off a 2-3 win season and people would be screaming for Mack's head. Jalen Hurts had a Heisman caliber season at OU when he looked like a guy who should switch to RB at Bama. Just the truth.
  19. Might wanna watch the two previous years when he had weapons to work with. You might be surprised.
  20. Glasses are off. Wilson is a big reason why there's less height stigma around QBs in today's NFL. I don't know that guys like Mayfield and Murray go #1 overall pre-Wilson. You kinda betrayed your motivations a bit with that particular name drop.
  21. Appreciate your thought out and well articulated input.
  22. He's faster than that now. He's not fast by NFL standards but he's probably 4.75 to 4.8ish type speed. Quicker than fast. He's not fast at the top end but he gets to top speed in about three steps. That's usually more important on the football fid than pure deep speed. I don't expect him to run predraft but if he can clock faster than mid-4.7s (which I doubt) then he should run.
