  1. Rhule was just a total disaster as an NFL coach. And now with this NIL stuff at the college level I'm not sure he'll adapt to that either.
  2. And evidently that was very much considered.
  3. It was a weird draft for me. Usually there is THE guy I want. But this year, I wanted Richardson but I was just fine with Young or Stroud too if they were the pick instead.
  4. I'm offering no predictions but I want 10 wins. 10 wins is what would convince me that we're definitely on the right path forward.
  5. TMJ has shown some decent promise. I hope he can blossom under a better staff with better QB play. I hope I'm wrong but Tremble just seems like a bust IMO. Haven't seen much there to hang my hat on.
  6. He's not great but he's definitely the best QB in the division until proven otherwise. I think he's a borderline top 10 NFL QB.
  7. The entire division has a QB weakness. We're just hoping that we've solved ours.
  8. I mean, I kinda get it. The division was atrocious last year and the Falcons drafted a RB who could be among the league's best right out of the gates and they spent a ton of resources on D. So yeah, I could see the media seeing their path to winning what they expect to be a bad overall division. We're gonna be afterthoughts until we prove that we shouldn't be.
  9. He's pretty terrible but most backups are. They're backups for a reason.
  10. Seattle didn't even realize they had an NFL team prior to Russell Wilson.
  11. My 1873 is the only (bad) pics on my phone
  12. I ain't worried about a RB. I rejoiced when a division opponent drafted a RB high on R1.
  13. Good IMO. Young should be good to go and they will be able to minimally prepare to face him in our offense.
  14. Wouldn't shock me a bit if Corral is released. It was rumored leading up to the draft that we were trying to trade him for literally anything.
  15. Oh, y'all been bitching about all those illegal hits? How about the exact same thing again! fugers.
  16. Good for you. My wife just got us a membership over at Phifer so now I have no excuses. The combo of the pandemic and moving back to the south has been brutal for me. I've put on about 30 pounds on the past three years. I'm 40 now and it just happens a lot easier than it used to and away from CO I don't have constant snowboarding to both remind me when I'm getting out of shape and motivate me to be in shape. I really need to get back into mountain biking. The snowboarding in western NC is trash but the mountain biking is legit. I just need actual motivation to stay in shape and I haven't had it the past couple of years. I've been fly fishing too damn much. I love fly fishing but as long as you're in shape to hike a couple of miles that's really all it takes.
  17. It seems like a significant miss by the NFL to have the #1 overall pick QB on the road week one. Give the fans what they want. We've been desperate for a QB for years. Let us see our guy at home to start his career. I mean, damn. If I'm the NFL anytime there's a #1 pick QB who is expected to start right out of the gate I'm having that team open at home. That fanbase has been suffering. Throw a dog a bone.
  18. As they should be. You have a young QB with some talent and aren't expected to do anything. Use this season to test drive him. If he shows promise, great. If he doesn't, you're gonna have a really high pick to shop for another one. I wasn't very high on Ridder as a prospect but given their overall situation playing Ridder is absolutely the right call. Heinicke is a good backup. But you're not going anywhere with him as a starter so why bother?
  19. Would you two idiots stop arguing over semantics and fuging up the thread already?
  20. I fully understood what you were saying, you were just playing semantics. I don't care about the definition of "assault weapon" or preserving the legality of weapons that fit that definition.
  21. The dogs are calming down enough I've been able to start introducing the kitty to them. They've never shown any aggression toward it but early on they were just too excited around it. It's getting normalized now.
  22. Yeah, I would too rather than just tossing him away for a late rounder. You gotta have just completely given up on a guy to do that.
  23. What could we reasonably expect to get in return for YGM?
  24. I've always had great experiences with the Animal Services folks. Always super gracious when I've dropped off donations. I only donated to Friends for Animals twice. Just the complete opposite experience. You walk in with literally hundreds of dollars worth of stuff to give them and they barely look up from their phones. Yeah, just put it over there in the corner. Thanks. Okay, maybe that was a one off. Second time, same thing. That's cool. All my donations go to Animal Services now.
