Svech almost looks like the odd man out since acquiring Jake and Kuz.
-
Should have been a fairly easy shutout for Kochetkov, but he got a little careless with one rebound and it cost him.
-
Svech can't keep the puck on his stick tonite.
-
The forgotten Cane: Stef Noesen. Another guy who probably has 20 by now if he wasn't buried on the 4th line.
-
Fugging shooting gallery on Sorokin. 26 SOG halfway thru the 2nd.
-
No problem at all with Hulu/ESPN+
-
The 2nd Jarvy goal- watch Guentzel double tap and get Sorokin to commit to Jake's shot when he backhand passes to Jarvy.
-
Winner! And a good chance at a natural hatty!
-
Unless they have eliminated the shootout and gone to as many 5-minute 3-on-3 periods as needed for a winner, then anything else they've changed means dick.
-
Jake Guentzel.
-
Just think what we'd see if the KK line started contributing. And Svech got out of his funk.
-
32 goals in the last 6 games?
-
Orlov does not have a hatty on his resume.
-
Orlov with a cannon shot. He has 4 points tonight, btw.
-
Chatty! Forgive me for not remembering who said it last night, but I have to agree that Svech is not playing well at all. 3 empty letters, but little else.
-
Play the 3rd, win the 3rd.
-
Chatty's worst D play in at least a month. Got his ankles broke on that one.
-
But yeah, tighten it up boys. Playing a little loose.
-
Andersen never saw it once it flipped over his shoulder. It was a fluke lucky bounce of the puck.
-
Very high. Him & Chatty
-
Well.... he did get the assist! No winners tonight as Orlov looks like a winger going high glove off the post.
-
See how Slavin rebounds from a very uncharacteristically poor game last night. Love the 1 & 2 lines. Chatty & Orlov are easily a solid 2nd pair on any NHL blue line. Studs.
-
No winners last night as, when everyone else fails, Martinook seems to show up with a goal.... Staying with Guentzel against the Sens later this afternoon.

A comeback of epic proportions. Although I announced my departure and decided to watch a movie after Toronto went up 3-0 on 3 breakaways on 3 junior league turnovers made by a team who looked as though they were sleepwalking thru the first period, I kept my phone nearby and watched the game back from the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period. Oh yeah, I watched "The Holdovers," which Paul Giamatti was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar. Was an okay movie at best.

I'm out guys. Gonna turn on a movie or something.
