Which trailer park bussed in all the Pens fans?
-
Standings stay as as. Pesce gets the first.
-
As I said on page 1, get a couple quick goals, Raanta gets some confidence and play some stout D.
-
I don't think they even get to a SB in the next 10.
-
Ya think? Obvious PI no call. Hitting Flacco in his slide.

Ahead of Saturday, January 13 game at home against Pittsburgh, the standings are as follows: Anybodyhome- 4 Harbingers- 3 Panthers Fan 69- 2 WelshPanther- 2 MillionDollarCam- 1 BY9Franchise- 1 DavidEng- 1 ____________________________________________________________________ I'm going with Svechnikov tonight.

I was mistaken. I was under the impression TDA had some really good career numbers against Pittsburgh- wrong team- my mistake.

Just a few thoughts... I think Necas skates tonight. His speed thru the neutral zone is no match for the 37 year old legs of Malkin, 36 year old legs of Crosby, 31- Rust, 32- Smith, 39- Carter, 34- Ellers, etc. Get a couple quick goals that allow Raanta to breathe a little easier and play some lock down defense against a Pens team that shoots a lot. Lemieux earned a spot on the ice tonight, maybe to protect Necas. Wouldn't be surprised to see TDA in tonight as well with Orlov taking a night off. But, again, with Orlov's salary, he needs to play at a high level every night. Nov 18: Canes @ Pittsburgh: Pens score in the first, Carolina gets one back in the second and goes on the score 3 in the 3rd to win 4-2. Raanta was in net and saved 26 of 28. Dec 21: Canes @ Pittsburgh: Again, Pens score in the first, Carolina ties it in the 2nd and the Pens won in a shootout with Kochetkov in net. All that being said, with no morning skate, the Canes may just roll with what they had Thursday night. Since that last loss to the Pens on Dec 21, the Canes have scored 5, 5, 5, 3, 6, 6, 1 and 6 goals (37 goals in 8 games).

This is a win, boys! Pick up a couple points on the Rags hopefully. They are down 3-1 to the Blues at the end of 2.
-
I think he tweaked his neck. Pyotr really got his neck bent
-
Raanta needs to step up and play big now.
-
That hit was bad. Glad Lemieux dropped the gloves and pummeled him.
-
Canes just can't seem to beat these guys.

I have Drury.

Rodgers went on McAfee's show last week and made a crack about Jimmy Kimmel's name being on Jeffrey Epstein's list. It was not a subtle jab, either. It was a pretty brutal statement. Keep in mind that ESPN is a Disney property, as is ABC, where Jimmy Kimmel's show is. Then, on Rodger's segment on the McAfee show earlier this week, Rodgers went full-blown conspiracy theorist, tin foil hat BS. Really over the top, Trump style crap: I loved to watch Rodgers play QB, but this shows what a real dick this guy is. Fug right the hell off, AR.

He didn't do anything that hasn't been done by many other schools in the SEC and Big 10. The only reason the NCAA went after him is because it was the Pac 10 (at the time), they don't get TV coverage on the east coast because they play late Saturday night games, they already have 11 national titles, and the SEC and Big 10 had to be protected. If you honestly believe teams like Alabama, LSU, and several other perennial powerhouses weren't doing the same thing, I don't know what to tell you. I just find it very odd that Alabama was never even sniffed at for recruiting violations.
-
One need look no further than this statement he made live to Pat McAfee on his show December 21: "Excellence has a price and it doesn't come easy.. you gotta pay for it up front too." Saban finally admits that Alabama players are getting paid and, now, with the NIL and transfer portal, the school can no longer compete with those wallets and checkbooks.

I'd love to know how that second line looked in practice. That may be the most sandpaper RBA has ever put on the ice. None of those 3 are afraid to mix it up. -
While your comment rings through the fog that was the CFP process the last few years, let's not casually look beyond the dissolving of the Pac-12; the Big 10 becoming the Big 20, or whatever it looks like; apparently being a part of a "Power 5" doesn't matter anymore; how much the transfer portal is simply looking like collegiate free agency with the NIL in place, and a 12-team tournament next year. The end of college football as we've known it for decades is officially nothing but history now. For the record, I have no allegiance to any NCAA team and could not have cared less who won last night. But I can tell you this with a fairly decent amount of certainty- Georgia would have clocked either of those teams last night, and likely any of the 4 teams in the tourney. Mark my words- in about 5 years, there will be but 3 "conferences" with about 15-20 teams each that will rule the land and the CFP. The transfer portal and NIL have ensured that the already rich schools will get richer and those smaller FBS schools.... well.... you're left begging for the scraps and maybe a chance to schedule a power house school just too make a few bucks for getting your asses kicked.

Suffice to say this team has no business getting into shootouts. If they get possession of the OT faceoff, there's no reason a Canes 3 on 3 shouldn't be able to win it in short order. Maybe instead of shootout attempts they should be working on winning faceoffs, which has taken a major step back this season. -
100% agree. Been watching this game for 50+ years and there's nothing about BY's game that gives me any reason to believe he's an NFL QB.
-
There are a sh!t ton of QBs who were once upon a time on the Carolina roster who I would welcome back as a better option than who's there now. What did Ron Rivera used to say? "He (insert player name) gives us the best chance to win." If that's the philosophy of most NFL coaches, why did Andy Dalton stand on the sidelines all year, given the most offensive production the Panthers had all year, until the Green Bay game, was the game Andy Dalton started.

Rags lost in a shootout as well, so no gained ground there.
