Who came up with "MC9"? I like that. Props!

Is Matt Corral better than Justin Fields? Possibly, but we won't know until two years from now when Baker crashes out again. In the name of McAdoo! Stop wasting our f'n time. Let's go!
-
If in 2021 you told everybody that the Panthers would draft arguably the best QB in the SEC and instead of him playing like Mac or Zach they're signing a failed, flawed QB from a bottom feeder AGAIN to start while putting a guy who deserves his first chance on the bench in bubble wrap, people would say Rhule was nuts! Because having only played in the SEC, Corral isn't man enough to play day one in the NFL like Zach or Mac. Foolishness.
-
He smells just like Sam to me. They said the same things about him. What about this team or Baker makes this a better situation than the Browns? Nothing.
-
I care about ACCURACY first. Height comes after.
-
Matt Corral is taller than everybody. And YOU are correct.
-
Stop putting poo on a pedestal. Should have learned from the last one.
-
No real teams were falling over themselves to sign this guy. That's all you need to know. Maybe the team got better and he couldn't. Dude was on his way to the streets. This was a good ol boy hookup.
-
Too short, too slow, too cocky. That's what THEY said. Maybe you should listen to people who know this QB better than you. Put the sauce down. He doesn't have the traits and couldn't put it together despite the cool commercial and being the hopes and dream of a city. He failed and WILL fail. Not elite. Stop putting scrubs on a pedestal.
-
He didn't want Sam or Baker. Hopefully he gets his prized pupil on the field. Enough with the damn leftovers. Panthers fans are so used to crap they're giddy about Baker Mayfield. New lows apparently. This comes with a crap coach and low expectations. McAdoo if allowed could have MC9 in the OROY conversation but Rhule wants him to re-fry beans. We got people on this site high on the failed hopes dreams of the bottom feeder Browns. Look at yourselves.
-
Again, he supposedly fell in the draft for off field whatever. Aaron Rodgers is 6'2" also. Almost prototypical but definitely taller than Baker. Baker Mayfield is a failed QB. Who isn't better than a failure?
-
Remember dum dums. Corral didn't slip for on the field deficiencies. Slip means you fell, he fell from where? First round projections. Not second round projections. Nobody, not even the pundits can question IF he can play. Not only CAN he play, he makes guys around him better. He's the best QB on this team, who if you let play, by the end of the season you could possibly have the gem of the draft and maybe a OROY. Why take that opportunity away from Matt Corral?! He's not man enough to play QB at a high level like he did in the SEC?! C'mon. Bubble wrap? Matt Corral has a chip on his shoulder, he just wants some sugar in that contract because he KNOWS he will outperform his draft position. If I were McAdoo I'd be coaching Matt to take the other two out. Like I've said, somebody probably doesn't want McAdoo to be the one to build a offense around and coach up a potential OROY at QB. He'd either take his job or be on the next train smoking like Chud.

WalterFootball... High on the Panthers for the NFC?

Pinky: Hey Rhule what do you wanna do this year? Rhule: The same thing we do every year Pinkey, try and bring a dead QB back to life. Insanity. -

Baker Mayfield has a lot to prove, period!

I don't think it should automatically be his job. There is a better QB on the roster, if camp is the door and all things are equal Matt Corral could very well beat out a middle of the road QB who was on his way out before the hookup. I hope Corral comes into camp with the eye of the tiger. If you can't beat these two QBs who both have no business playing after their first contracts 4yrs later, then?! BOTH are guys at the end of their NFL rainbows, maybe you should have been a third round QB if you can't top them. They are your prey young warrior -

If we need to draft a QB because Corral isn't capable, that's something we desperately need to know BEFORE the next draft. Bubble wrap and tummy rubs and spoon-feeding delays his development IMO. Didn't help Sam last year that's for damn sure.
-
Corral has a very high ceiling and if we can get the MAN out there and let the MAN start at QB like Mac did, like Zach did and if he does better than either guy our franchise is saved. Instead, McAdoo is tasked with reforming used goods that don't even smell fresh, something about head up ass. That's Rhule intentionally sabotaging McAdoo with failed Baker because if he had Corral playing like a OROY by the end of the season he'd get the next hottest coach train outta here!

I was on the official get Justin Herbert at all cost bandwagon here. I thought Marty was on the team, but I guess Marty was overRhuled.
-
And he's getting the blame. If we lose him and he dominates elsewhere I wouldn't be surprised. He has that potential. Like we've said put somebody, like say Poe next to him and boom!
-
I think they're mis-using D.Brown. He's getting all that blame but put him back a couple years with Rivera next to Star and or #99, forget his name, sorry, he'd be All Pro instead a guy getting slandered.

Stop. That's the problem with BEING a 3-4 team. When you figure out you need to go back to 4-3 like they eventually will they'll have to figure out what to do with these tweeners left on the roster. We've been here before sir. You can exotic up your base 3-4 all you want it won't hold up in the long-run and they just attack your "specialist" tweeners through zone blocking. We lived that. We dominated in 1996 with it and that scheme got shut the f' down. Dom Capers wasn't an idiot he did all he could with 3-4 base and the players you need to run it.
