Yep. Honestly, waiting would have been the best choice. But, they wanted to give fans some hope.

Not coping. Just pointing out that this team sucks all around and is not what a rookie QB needs at all. No weapons, no run game, and a terrible Oline. That's the stuff that ruins rookies.

Maybe, maybe not. Young was the better college QB, but may be the lesser pro one. My point is that this team is going to make Young into another David Carr.

For all the Stroud lovers, he would look just as bad as Young on this team. So would Richardson, Levis, Williams, Maye, and rookie Cam Newton. This team is just the perfect storm that ruins QBs.

Ran into his own blocker and still was able to get the first down

bootleg and a wide open receiver. There wasn't a defender within 3 yards of him when he caught the pass.

The Panthers have never believed in bootlegs, even when Cam was in his prime. They also don't believe in slants. It's maddening.

I didn't say a thing about starter vs backup. I said Minshew isn't a good QB, which is true. My point is that a rookie QB would look better and have led Indy on more scoring drives than Minshew.

Nah. If Young, Stroud, or Richardson were playing for Indy, the Panthers would be down at least 10 right now. Indy's line is giving Minshew time, he's just not a good QB.
