you'd think the game was only about him according to the media coverage before this game started -
Think you read that wrong , I was referring to Downs being held by some as a top 10 talent
-
It's really hard justifying picking a saftey that high. If we picked him I almost feel like he'd have to be some kind of a unique piece that you could use at CB and Saftey. If we do bad enough to pick that high again and Bryce didn't get injured they could be looking at qbs.

Maybe Clumpson isn't that good this year
-
Ain't no way, these match ups are ass this weekend . I listened to some of this on the radio and almost fell asleep. Ohio state qbs only missed one pass each the whole game lol
-
Texas Tech and FSU are shutting out their opponents 30+ points to 0 so far lol

I think there were way too many people over reacting to Arch in the first game vs Ohio State. Joel Klatt had the best take I heard. Arch was making the first legit start of his college career and he lost to the defending national champions at their place by 7 points, with a chance to tie or win at the end of the game. Klatt also said this was the first game Arch started on the road in his career. Was probably a combination of nerves + the atmosphere + Ohio State having a good defense. Ohio State did lose a ton of starters defensivly the draft but they kept a few, including a starting CB Igbinosun and probably a top 10 pick in next year's draft, Saftey, Caleb Downs. Klatt was saying he made ton of odd mistakes in his first away start as well. It's going to take time for him to learn how to play well against real good defenses. He got a few snaps in against Georgia last year and didn't look great either.

I'm watching Texas vs SDSU and Michigan vs Oklahoma. None of the games in that middle time slot interest me. Texas is beating the living shite out of SDSU. 4 TDs for Arch and it's not halftime yet lol.
-
They're saying this was the longest Texas TD pass in 8 years Livingstone with another TD, a shorter pass this time after Texas picked off the SDSU QB off a tipped ball.
-
As I say that, Arch throws a 83 yard TD to Livingstone lol.
-
As bad as Arch was in game 1 vs Ohio State. I'm watching them continue to drop passes against San Diego State today un game 2 lol. Arch got insanely unlucky with the amount of talented WRs that Texas had ALL left before he started. Couple years ago they had Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Worthy, last year they had Matthew Golden and Isaiah Bond. This year they have Ryan Wingo and Parker Livingstone lol. Wingo (6'2" 214 lbs) is only a Sophomore that had 472 receiving yards in his only season played last year. Livingstone (6'4" 191 lbs) looks like a redshirt freshman. Not having veteran WRs from the past few seasons means there's gonna be some growing pains for them this year.

That Cheifs 4th down throw was crazy lol.
-
The early Cheifs teams had Tyreek Hill, their last Super Bowl winning team had a healthy Pachenko and Rahsee Rice. Last year Rashee Rice was out injured. Their primary WR may have been the rookie Xavier Worthy. I think Holywood Brown (WR) may have also been out last year. Pacheco was out iirc.

Chargers Dlineman finally stopped Mahomes from scrambling one time
-
Great throw and catch by Herbert and the Quentin Johnson for a TD. 27 Chargers - 18 Cheifs This game is pretty entertaining post half time.
-
Beautiful 45 yard throw from Mahomes to Kelce. They didn't get the 2 point conversion though. 20 Chargers - 18 Cheifs. I have a feeling that missed extra point by Butker earlier may end up biting them in the ass.
-
That was a ridiculous throw by Mahomes by falling forward. If anyone else tried that poo would be immediately picked off lol.
-
Going to be specifically on YouTube.

I'm still glad the Cheifs lost the Super Bowl. If they would've 3-peated we would have had nothing but Cheifs nut sucking and Taylor Swift glazing all off season long. I think you're still going to see most of America rooting for the Chargers, outside of Missouri/Kansas. Not sure if either team either drafted or acquired anyone super interesting in the draft or free agency . Best one I could is Omarion Hampton (RB) being drafted by the Chargers. Chargers losing Rashawn Slater (LT) for the season. I think Isaiah Pacheko is coming back for the Cheifs, I think Rashee Rice is on a suspension, he was injured last year along with Pacheko. The Cheifs drafted a rookie LT from Ohio State I think, not sure if he is starting this game.
-
Eh, I am not so sure about that. We have 3 new WRs at 1, 3, and 4 or 5, and the number 2 guy couldn't catch important balls to save his life last year. We don't even know if we will have our starting LT and the Jags have a solid pass rushing duo. This game feels like a toss up to me. Especially if that Panthers start out sputtering like the last 2 years. I don't trust the practice tweets, the media said Bryce was killing it in practice before year 1 and 2 and he poo the bed immediately to start the season. I'm particularly looking to see if he can start off where he left off last year and not where he started the year at.
-
Yea it may not be "fair" but QBs are ultimately judged by how successful they are. Bryce definitely needs to have a winning season/playoff season within his first 4 years to be considered worth paying top dollar to and keeping for another 3 or 4 years. That's also what the entire coaching staff is gking to be held to. Not having a winning season with 4 years of Bryce/3 years of Canales simply won't be good enough, and I think Tepper would hit the reset button on everything if we arent in the playoffs or have a winning season by the end of the 2026 season. Personally I'll become a Bryce Believer if he can consistently perform well this year and we get 8 or 9 + wins, is what im looking for.
-
I don't like how people say "You should feel this way." There is no specific correct way how to fan. You're just antagonizing people when you frame your statements like that. A ton of people here were super high on Bryce before the 23 season, then almost everyone thought he was trash 23 through first 2 games of 24. Now the majority sentiment has gone way up again with how Bryce finished the year. During all of these periods of time, if you ever went against the majority sentiment on Bryce , tons of people would try to browbeat you into believing you're "wrong" for believing or disbelieving in him. My current perspective on Bryce is mixed. I'm not cherry picking only his rookie year or only his last half of 2024. I'm looking at his career in it's ENTIRETY. The bottom line is this. Bryce showed significant improvement last year, but that doesn't magically erase all the shitty games he had before that. He has an overall W-L record of 6W - 22L , 60% completion percentage, 26 TDs to 19 INTs. None of that is good enough to be a franchise QB. So in reality, this 2025 is THE turning point. If he can not turn the ship around in his 3rd year in terms of Wins and Losses, his future could be very much in question. Do you think the Panthers are going to want to pay a QB 60 mil a year that has a lopsided Loss to Win column and medicore stats with 3 straight losing seasons to his name??? He's gotta perform this year for his sake and the sake of the coaching staff, IMO.
