I don't know what you are talking about. All I am comparing are 2024 numbers to 2025 numbers straight from the sheet. Every stat, every game. I am not being selective. You posted a select group of stats from 2024 vs 2025. I posted the full stats from 2024 vs 2025. Personally I could care less about 2023 at this point. Kirk Cousins had a fanatastic year in 2023 but would you want him today - no you wouldn't. Rating a QB today based upon his performance from almost three years ago is foolish.
-
Nothing lol. Sorry I stepped away and responded to the wrong post.
-
And yet his numbers are better than Lawrences' and you stated you would trade for Lawrence and his 50M contract. Why?
-
I understand having a plan B. I just don't think they are actively looking for his replacement at this time.
-
I don't know. I think Coen has done a pretty good job down there.
-
If you're going to post comparisons, you should post them all. If you take the time to look, you can see he has improved in pretty much every catagory: TD%, TD-INT ratio, succ% (passes going for 1st downs), yards/game, adjust yards gained per pass attempt, 4th qtr comeback, game winning drives etc.
-
I don't think they are looking for his replacement. I think he fits what Canales wants to do. I think they are looking for continued improvement and believe it will come with time. I don't expect them to try and extend him but unless he just craps out the rest of the season, I would expect them to pick up his 5th year.
-
Why. Lawrence is either the same or worse than Young in almost every statistically catagory. And it isn't just this year. comp%, TD-INT ratio, 1st down success, etc. He might be bigger and have a stronger arm but he has not played like the better QB.
-
JaMarcus Russell could drive it 20 yards easily but that didn't make him a good QB.

“All I know is you’ve spent a lot of time and energy arguing that a Panthers player doesn’t deserve national recognition for their performance. That just seems like an odd stance for a fan to take.”
-
I can't help but think there are some here who dislike Bryce so much they would rather watch the Panthers tank than see Young succeed.
-
Came for the DB, stayed for the BY lol Don't know who Kay Adams is but I like what she's saying. ( I just can't go to X to watch her. That place is poisonous. It's like a toxic dump site. I wanna take a shower after being there only 5 minutes )
-
Who would have thought
-
Following that logic, the Panthers should wind up at 9-7.
-
Just the first five minutes are on the Panthers and it's pretty balanced with some positives as well as negatives concerning Bryce. It's nice hearing something postive this late in the season again. It's been a long, long time.

Request: Can someone do a deep dive on our Defense?
cranky replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be honest, I do not think any teams defense has been ready for the Rams in the 1st half of games. Until Sunday, I think they had outscored the opponents 63-3 over the past 6 games or something. -
I do not expect anyone who doesn't believe in Young as the future to be swayed this year - regardless of how well he plays from here on. That's OK. I understand, it's no big deal. I just get tired of the constant small bits of praise only to be followed with some passive aggressive derogatory comment. When he has a bad game, it's absolutely toxic around here. When he has a good game, the haters still bring that toxicity to any post that allows them to get a dig in.

Bryce completed 75% of his passes, accounted for 3 TD's, had a 46% 3rd down completion percentage and finished with a 147 QB rating. In what world is that NOT an overall good game?
-
3 of Staffords passes accounted for 117 of his yards. So what. Does that make his performance look worse than it was. Or are other qbs just held to a different standard.
-
I would hardly call yesterdays defensive performance improved. Take away those turnovers and the Rams probably score 49 points. The defense gave up 246 yards in the first half alone. Their running backs averaged over 6 yards a carry over the game. They could not stop them. I do not know how you can claim it was their stellar perfomance that won the game. Young completes 75% of his passes, converts all 3 of his 4th down attempts and accounted for all 3 offensive TD's and you still claim he was the weak spot yesterday. Your hate knows no bounds.
-
They needed three turnovers because the defense gave up 246 yds in the first half alone with the RBs' averaged 6.1 yds/att. Any team given up those kinds of numbers will need turnovers. They didn't work to keep Young under 20. They ran the ball to keep the Rams offense off the field and it was successful. Any team would have the same game plan given how well it worked. Saying "hope he can hit a throw here and there" is a bit off given he hit 15 of 20 and all of his 4th down attempts. "Run the ball, hope you can force turnover" is a recipe for success with any team in the NFL - not just Bryce Young. And finally, saying "Bryce "haters" will give him credit for the good plays" is a bit disingenous when you follow it with with a trashing diatribe don't you think.

How many Qbs can you name better than Bryce Young?
cranky replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
Going by Statmuse, Geoff isn't higher. In fact, Young is just behind Mahommes, Herbert and Stafford. Take these numbers with a grain of salt though as they really don't look right to me. -

That is weird. Regardless, 24 or 18th place, that's only about 1.4% ( 37% vs 38.4% )difference which is pretty insignificant overall. As far the QB ratings on 4th down, could you either give me the data or point me to were I can find it. Again, I am just going on what statmuse provided on 4th down numbers. Given how much more successful the Panthers have been on 4th downs than the Lions, I am curious to see how Geoff rates higher. Not trying to be argumentative. I am honestly curious.
