Hope he dramatically asks for trial by combat

Whether is it in the context of domestic violence or not doesn't matter I don't believe. However, I know where the problem lies and why I may have been confused by your bullet point that you posted. 14-33.©1 is what you are referring to and you are indeed correct that it states "inflicts serious injury upon another" is an A1 misdemeanor But 14-32.4 says "any person who assaults another person and inflicts serious bodily injury is guilty of a Class F felony" All of these laws have the caveat of "Unless the conduct is covered under some other provision of law providing greater punishment" Which is why I questioned it, what you are charged with will be determined by how serious the personal injury is. If you just go to the hospital and get some stitches it would be the law you are referring to, if you are in the hospital for a long period of time, or have life threatening injuries, or become mutilated or disfigured you will be charged with a felony. So really, we were both right http://www.ncleg.net/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/HTML/ByArticle/Chapter_14/Article_8.html

Also assault inflicting serious injury I believe is indeed a felony
-
On several of the more serious things you listed there are actually different types, for instance, assault with a deadly weapon very well can be charged as a serious felony offense. Depends on what the accused is being charges with doing
-
Both are misdemeanor charges, not that that should make any difference on your view of what allegedly happened. Just putting it out there

I'm going to wait for the facts on this one.

PC players are the hipsters of gaming.

Not going back through the thread but has anyone read any of The Beyonders series? By Brandon Mull. I just picked it up the first book and just started it. Just wanted some opinions.

Oh, and I probably played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic all the way through 20 times. For some reason I don't like first person shooters, so I have never really been able to get into the Halo or Call of Duty games.

Mario and Zelda probably had the biggest impacts on gaming. But today's games are pretty damn good. I like three types of games. RPGs, sports, or games with good stories to tell. Naughty Dog has been crushing it with great cinematic type games like Uncharted and Last of Us. Read Dead Redemption was one of my favorite games of all time. RPG games don't get much better to play than Elder Scrolls or Mass Effect.

Only problem is it might have spoilers for season 2 of tbr american show

The British version is awesome too. Check it out on Netflix. Only three episodes per chapter but they are about 1 1/2 hour each.

The Pats game was a shootout. There were just extremely long drives by both offenses

I can't say that I am thrilled with Shula but he isn't the only scapegoat in all of this. Plus I will judge his entire body of work and not rely on just 4 games, 2 of which were more on the players than the scheme

I am. But I was going to be fair to the guy until he proved me wrong.

It will be interesting to hear Cam talk about that pick. I am not so sure he wasn't trying to purposely throw behind Smith and Petersen just got his head around (and was holding Smitty )

Two things I am away from this, both are assumptions. This was no leaked on our side. And certainly not one of the coaches either. Most likely agents running their mouths. Also I view this as due diligence so that in case there is a coaching change we will hit the ground running to try and get our guy locked up before competition increases. Not necessarily that a firing is imminent. But to be able to act swiftly if we do fire Rivera.

Good post Zod. Panthers nation will always have a soft spot in our hearts for him. One of the best in his prime.

Cam and Ginn are still trying to get their timing down too. I think Ginn will get even better as the season goes on.

Do you really think this D-line is better than the Peppers, Buckner, Jenkins, and Rucker line? I don't mean that in a snarky, sarcastic way. I am sincerely asking because I don't know. It is a close call. Regardless, we have a beastly front 4 that is still pretty young and it will make this defense formidable for years to come no matter who is behind them.
