So far, Darnold is looking like our Darnold instead of the Darnold that has looked so good this year. Of course, its early.

In fairness to us, most teams and evaluators are bad at evaluation because its an incredibly difficult thing to do. The number of players drafted to high or to low every year is large. Just look at the Bears and Cardinals.

I do wonder if Sanders drops a little bit and then someone makes a move up to grab him. Although with all the qb needy teams, I don't see either him or Ward dropping below 4.

We could have had Jordan Love and Rashawn Slater in those same drafts without losing more games. Which would give us a top 10 qb and Lt. Perhaps we just need to scout and analyze better.

I think we have a qb we can win with. Beyond that, I don't know.

And spend our relatively limited cap space on mostly defensive free agents.

Most important thing to me In his last 8 games, three interceptions. And 2 of those came in one game. And during those games, he was throwing the ball down the field more. Four game winning drives in those 8 games. And a couple of others, he lead drives that might have won the game had others done their jobs. The kid has been money in close games. These are the things that make winning qb's imo. Don't get me wrong, he still has some areas he needs to improve upon. But I feel much better than I did after the Chargers game.

They are both winning, currently.
