Old school made a comeback last year. Seattle won a Superbowl going old school (defense and running the ball and make some big throws on occassion). Maybe it will work for us.

Camp body usually indicates someone who hasn't played much and is just hanging on. Definitely not the case with this guy. Didn't play much last year, and was injured in 2024, but before that, he had a significant amount of carries. My guess is if he makes the team, he ends up being a third down back on occassion.

I think more famous people/athletes cheat simply because they have more opportunity. Most of us don't have women coming on to us on a regular basis, but we don't really know how we would react if we did. I am not excusing those who do cheat, and they deserve to suffer the conseequences. But most of us don't know with absolute certaintity what we might do in that situation. I know that early in my marriage, I had a couple of opportunities, but I turned it down, mainly because it was wrong and I wouldn't want to risk putting my family thru that kind of thing. But if I was wealthy and famous, and had women coming on to me on a regular basis, I am not sure what might happen. I think I would resist the tempation, but we never know for certain. And fortunately, I never will know.

Agreed. Unless a DE is a Julius Peppers type, it takes a couple of years to really develope. I am hoping we can get one to go with Prince and Scourton. Or another Interior Dlineman might work as well.

I have been a fan since the team began, so there are probably several more that I have likely forgotten. Gary Barnidge comes to mind though.

I am not sure how much we should screw with the receiver room. We have had wholesale change each of the last two seasons, and both times we started off poorly. If we tweek it a little bit, so be it, but nothing more than that.

Moore should immediately be the best receiver on the Bills.

They are in the red in terms of cap space. Could be that they like him, but not as much as they do others.

Only position that we could move XL to is Kick Returner. Maybe. That being said, he still has a year to prove he can do something in the NFL. If he doesn't, then he will likely be cut and get to try and prove himself somewhere else.

Usually, but I would caveat that. If you sign significant free agents at the position, you can skip a year of drafting them. This year though, we definitely need to draft some. Although edge and linebacker are the top priorities. Assuming we don't address those positions in free agency.

He ran pretty well on the few occassions he ran. I think Seattle just did a good job with containment.

Maye had a not so good run in the playoffs, but got bailed out by a good defense and some terrible play from the opposing qb. More turnovers than td's for the entirety of the playoffs. He is young and should improve, but is going to have to clean up the turnovers to truly become elite.

He will get another shot. Not saying he should, but he will.

Seattle's defense owned a lot of offensive lines. Maybe not to that extent, but they are a great defense. And Maye got rattled. But the biggest difference was that Seattle could run the ball, which took a little pressure off Darnold. New England couldn't run it a lick.

Darnold might get it for sympathy/struggling for all these years and because he is the qb. The one thing Darnold did was not turn the ball over. Although a couple of those early passes could have been pick sixes.

New England needs better receivers and a better run game. We should send em Leggette and tell them they can have him for a second round pick.
