  1. Sure....Thats the typical outlook when you defending a qb that constantly changes the play at the line, holds the ball long for nfl standards and cant see wide receivers when they are open down field. But yeah....its not him.
  2. I keep saying, the panthers might just be participants of the biggest scam job in football.
  3. Yes...lots of passes to RBs behind the line and screens will do that.
  4. Yet you say all this and then you watch youngs college tape and there is clearly not much of a difference in his play style till now. He held the ball a long time to orchestrate big plays and make reads and you just CANT DO THAT in the NFL. Difference is, he was on a team that was just that much more talented than most teams they played. In the nfl everybody is the best of the best and also just as smart/awareness and will use your tendencies to their advantage. The vikings came out and said they locked on to bryces habits and were able to game plan around them. So while you say the OL and Wrs are hindering his big play potential i say its a qb who is still trying to implement his college play style and habits with the significant difference in skill around him and hasnt figured out yet that it just isnt gonna happen like that. He has to change his game. Plays are there to be made even with the current OL and Wrs, if they weren't then its NO REASON why Andy dalton was able to have success. It went from going up against a bad defense to bad playcalling after the vikings game. Bryce needs to make the adjustments and get the confidence if he is gonna be a franchise qb.
  5. People couldnt wait to jump on stroud after a interception in his first pro game, nobody is trying to here this. Bryce was DRAFTED off the fact he would yeild immediate results over everybody else now he needs a lof of time which apparently he doesn't have cuz coaches and execs are gonna start getting fired sooner than later so clearly expectations aint being met.
  6. Is just one of the numerous ways to take credit away from stroud because he is crushing all those pre draft narratives. Now watch when Bryce gets all this help he needs, o line, new great OC, weapons at all skill positions he will be somehow "carrying" the team threw his greatness.
  7. I keep saying it, i honestly dont know what folks are seeing. Maybe they like bryce that much where they cant fault him, but right here the ball should be out, this is what separates mediocre qbs and elite qbs. You have vision and the pocket is clean at this moment, the receiver has a opening in coverage and you need a score....i mean it doesn't get much better than that in the nfl. Anything that happens after this moment is on the qb improvising because the window has closed. You gotta take the shot, what else is there?
  8. Think its funny how this play was never brought up in that all 22 thread. More positives then negatives i guess...
  9. The last thing bryce needs a diva receiver, we lucky theilen is nice guy as it is. Be careful what you wish for.
  10. Thats nice...is there some reason you stopped scrolling? And here is one from a whole thread dedicated to stroud. You are welcome
  11. Seems people cant stand analysis from folks who dont scrape under every rock to find something positive about bryce when its not much there.
  12. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/10/04/panthers-frank-reich-bryce-young-cj-stroud-anthony-richardson-2023-nfl-draft-week-5/?taid=651d9a323158a700014afe42&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter&s=09 Oh boy.....lol
  13. I have always been on the OG train for Ickey if OT doesn't work out. Thats why i was cool with that pick the most because he definitely had more flaws compared to the other Tackles just the highest ceiling.
  14. If Frank walks away the writing is clear on the wall about the situation with who made the decision on the qb selection. Lol
  15. So what was he supposed to do according to you....draft a potential bust with the number 1 pick? That would have made you happy? Yes, he made bad trades but so does every OTHER GM. You think niners happy about giving up 3 first for lance even tho they are still a good team? They bounce back because of purdy if not they wouldbe up.shot creek. Just like Hurney traded for olsen in the same year and drafted Luke the next year which made the team relevant for atleast the next 8 years. The RBs were paid because back then because running the ball was still a staple offense. Hell, we drafted Stewart when we still had D Will and running it actually worked until delhomme fizzled out. The teams identity was run ball and play defense. Atleast the FO stuck to a formula back then while this new one still cant figure poo out.
  16. The end of hurney 1.0 was cam newton and luke kuechly
  17. And good players traded away, which is possibly bout to happen.
  18. A play he made back in college. Someone will post the highlight.
