  1. Last night, the first 2 passes Tom Brady threw in preseason sailed well over his intended receivers heads. I wonder if the Patriot message boards immediately leaped into action criticizing Brady's propensity to throw his passes too high?
  2. Any comment I make comes with 100% full-blown Auburn bias. But I've watched the kid for 2 years now... kid is a goddam beast and a workhorse.
  3. Maybe we should (have) traded A.J. Klein for Tyron Smith. Is that a practical solution in Dreamland?
  4. I love LOVE when idiots out themselves like this. You see, the part of being a FAN (root word "fanatic") is that your *do* think your team is better. Logic and reason have nothing to do with it. If all you want is logic and reason, don't call yourself a damn fan. I'm a fan. And you're damn right the Panthers players and coaches are BETTER.
  5. Being a long-time Auburn guy, 34 doesn't bother me cuz the first thing I think of is Bo Jackson... lol.
  6. That's not a tear in my eye, I'm just... peeling onions. Yeah, that's the ticket. See, I look at these pictures and have the feelz too, but in a different way... for me, its the same wonder, pleasure, and pride of being a Dad with nostalgia tacked on top.. My little boy will be 25 this year.
  7. CAP is mah boy, Blue! Not that I want Fozzy or Todman or Wegher to fail. I just want CAP to ball out. (All assuming Stewie is the starter.)
  8. You know, in general when someone mentions that a coach has played "head games" with a player, I don't believe it. Usually I just think its a coincidence between the performance and the comment. Yet, this time, I'm more apt to believe you might be on to something here.
  9. Dat belly. Doze feet. Da combination. *fap*
  10. Every time I read something like ol' Russell and Ciara (and other like cases), good ol' Matthew 6:5 always comes to mind.
  11. Does Marshawn Lynch play for the Saints? Does the Seattle defense play for the Saints? No? Then not scared.
  12. My kid was in a couple of those kinds of leagues. I'd always ask him after the game what the score was. His tally always matched my own. Once when he was in a "friendly" no-score soccer league at 6 years old, he was on the field when a player off the other team took a hard-kicked ball flush in the face. That kid fell down crying and all the other players and goalies rushed to that kid to see if he was OK. Except for my kid. He went for the ball and scored the empty-netter. Goddam, I was proud. ;)
  13. Dude, all you have to know about Mr. Saint fan and how he feels about Cam is (1) he 98% likely an LSU fan, and (2) this:
  14. No worries. I didn't even have to fug up a thread for me to realize I'm a prick. But I've been through therapy and now I'm OK with that.
  15. No, you're being a prick because you're in a soccer thread whining about soccer when the easiest thing to do would be to avoid the damn thread if you don't like soccer since the thread was more than clearly labeled. Then you're being a prick because you're complaining to the guy who pays the bills around here as to how he chooses to run the place. So, yeah, A + B = Major Prickage. Suck it up buttercup.
  16. As a Hawks fan, I'll trade you guys what we got in the draft last night straight up for Kaminsky. Traded the 15th overall pick (which they could have used for Bobby Portis, a fantastic multi-skilled PF who can leap through the roof and rebound) for the 19th overall pick (which they STILL could have used for Bobby Portis) and two future 2nd round choices (whee!) which they then turned around and immediately traded to the Knicks for... Tim Hardaway Jr. FML.
  17. Well its a fact that scoring a lot of points very quickly DOES concern a certain subset of coaches, mainly those of a defensive mindset and those who adore a dominating run game with lots of TOP. Guess what mindset our head coach fits? Our offensive coordinator? "OH NOEZ! IF WE SCORE TOO QUICK AND TOO OFTEN OUR DEFENSE WILL GET TIRED!"
  18. You are correct, I read the chart I was referring to incorrectly. Nice job pointing out an error in statistics to cover up the fact that I invalidated the embarrassing point you tried to make in your original post. I don't have to study history to know that your statement concerning the American flag was ridiculous and you should be ashamed of yourself for making it.
  19. Here's the fallacy in your logic: 140,000 men died and 220,000 men were wounded to cleanse the sin of slavery on that flag with their own blood.
