So is this... "My body's been feeling good," Moton said. "No triceps problems right now, no knee problems," he said. "The knees have been feeling good and excited about doing whatever I can (to play) 17 games plus -- plus playoffs. Every play is a sprint, but the whole season is a marathon." Same interview too
-
I am not blind, I do know however that Taylor Moton is not a Dr and this sounds like a case of over speaking. https://www.nfl.com/news/panthers-taylor-moton-has-another-contract-in-him-thrilled-to-return-entire-ol-group Literally the same interview... Until its more than rumor/conjecture on a message board im good. Its not like he got a five year extension (Looking at you Jake) this seems like a calculated move to get exactly the amount of use left out of his career imo.
-
Of said 14.... 8 were all pro or pro bowl last year
-
This is in fact not the flex you think it is..... especially when you consider the names basically every tackle 32 and up has had a consistent career to Moton.... its the GOOD ones that keep playing. Of those 14 eight were pro bowlers or all pro last year. (Moton also turned 31 like 4 days ago)
-
64 starting tackles pretty sure 2024 is just last year.
-
Yall are a trip, Offensive tackles aren't ancient at 31, in fact a 2 year deal for a 31 year old tackle its perfect lol. Dude is still a top third tackle.
-
Lol since 2017 the Panthers are 47-85, Also since 2017 the Giants are 40-91-1 Lol
-
53M dollar guard too though

Ooof for the loss on that one. I only saw a few and I also remember how bad he was throwing on the run as a rookie.... oof the first time they made the playoffs with him he missed a two yard swing pass on fourth down with the game on the line by 10 yards because he was moving.
-
Lol had to laugh at that although some truth to that I very much doubt you have watched anything of him at Wyoming.... lol. And almost all of those were him throwing in the run. Which he has improved on probably 2000% at the NFL level lol.
-
Some of it was definitely scheme with Jackson like Allen he did a lot with his legs and when he did throw it was a lot of lower % passes. Allen had zero talent around him and almost never threw passes with less than 15 air yards in college.... thats not gonna lead to a great %%
-
Ehhhh except a lot of it was his refusal in college not to play hero ball..... The two things he greatly improved at the NFL level were his accuracy on the run and learning he didn't have to take the deep shot every play. That said when taking a massive boom or bust athlete at QB the most important thing is their work ethic/coachability/desire to improve

I like Ekbugka probably will be eventually, dont know about this year with the Bucs new Offensive Cordinator Grizzard lol (he was a year behind me in high school) needless to say I seriously question them calling him an offensive wizard lol.

The Panthers have an effort problem
PantherChris replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yea IMO it needs to be a LB to be the tone setter on defense.... the beating heart.... That said Wallace ain't there yet. A couple LBs in next years class I hope we get a chance at... Styles Barton -

But yeah most of our generation has disappeared from this forum.... due to it... (US Panthers fans who are 80s millennials) I've posted here in one form or anther since 2003 and its definitely the worst I've seen it Even the old school Debbie downers like ickmule and occasionally JOAT analyzed things and didnt just spew opinion and conjunture.
