  1. Bingo.... Completely clean interior pocket..... dude did a 7 step drop out of the shotgun and then Completely ignored the rush if he steps up both rushers get washed out because they didnt have contain.
  2. Thats more on Canales plenty of teams use the TE or RB for it
  3. If your #1 overall pick can't be counted on to will your team to a win vs an opponent who is 2-10 vs the rest of the NFL..... yeah
  4. Hmmmm convention to mention the first four drives when we had a total of 8.... FYI here are the last 4.....
  5. You can be high octane with a run based offense see 2015 panthers, last years eagles, any of the last five years of Baltimore teams.
  6. Either sweep them Or beat Seattle and have them lose to miami. Not likely
  7. An offense that has 73% of the cap and the last five years of first rounders should be expected to score more than 17 points in a critical game vs the worst team in the NFC
  8. The defense that accounts for 27% of the cap.... and we all know doesn't have an edge rusher.... right.
  9. Dude your 1C crap is stupid..... Aho isn't a top 10 Center but he is absolutely a 1C..... somewhere around the Point/Larkin level 13th-17th best.... with the current amount of NHL teams most teams are lucky to have one C in the top 40..... 2C I agree with.... 100% preferably a guy with grit and playmaking ability. There absolutely isn't anyone close to being available better than Aho....
  10. This while he didn't single handily LOSE the game on any one play..... He was a first overall pick, one we paid a fortune for..... the bar for him is a 10 foot dunk not a 5"8 children's rim. 32 for 49 for 287 with 1 td and 1 int in two games vs the worst team in the conference, two critically important games that we would be 9-5 and competing for the #2 if he had led us to victory.... Ive given him props for the TD to tet.... it was the best pass ive ever seen him make..... But putting up these kind of numbers isn't up to par. Defenses stack the box and dare him to throw.... and he still puts up medicore at best numbers. To win with Bryce young the entire rest of the team has to be absolutely perfect to make up for his deficiencies.... so while he didn't "lose" this game for us..... HE DEFFINATLY DIDNT GO WIN IT FOR US. (Which is the REALISTIC EXPECTATION)
  11. Same thing i thought when I saw the x first..... If he steps up hes on the X here and Young gets washed down/out were the arrow goes.... Im also not even gonna mention he had 15 yards of green grass to run if he steps up to the same spot because the saints completely blew containment.
  12. He threw for 163 yards (32 of which i will say was on the best pass ive ever seen him make) vs a constant 9 and 10 man box..... all they had to do was stack the box and play zone. A quarterback who has to have everything play out perfectly to succeed is a ball and chain.
  13. I have no actual hope of this happening but if the panthers continue their win one lose one trend we will win the division
  14. Exactly, honestly with a QB who is actually tall enough to see and step up I'd bet our opinions of the pass protection would be much different this sack looked almost exactly like the vast majority of the pressures and sacks hes taken this year..... available pocket no step up/rolls out unnecessarily BEHIND the tackles..
  15. Tackles usually aren't when a QB is constantly dropping BEHIND them and not utilizing the interior pocket.
  16. Im saying its arguable to even credit that sack too the offensive line for all we hate pff thats one coaches and most analysts will put squarely on bryce.
  17. Ickey was beat to the outside from the get go.... he saw that and should have climbed the pocket period.... super processor at work.
  18. While true it doesn't change the fact that Lewis is 6-2 Mayes is 6-6 and Corbett is 6-4
  19. Playing offensive tackle isn't about winning the snap its about losing as slowly as possible if they are going to get beat you WANT it to be 9 yards yards behind the LOS and to the outside..... He didnt step up because hes 5'8 and needs to be 10 yards behind the line to see
  20. @45catfan the bryce stan is trying to say the double team on the other side "failed" and he was surrounded lmfao yea he was becaus he didnt step up in the completly clean pocket..... this is pass blocking 101 if the qb is 9 yards behind the LOS when hes sacked with zero interior push its on the qb because if he steps up both DEs get washed out and he has a full four seconds to throw....
  21. He was sacked for a NINE yard loss on a play were he was stationary when sacked.... with a completely clean interior pocket thats inexcusable....
  22. Your high.... the "double team" didnt fail on the other side if he steps up in the pocket when hes supposed too 2 seconds before you still the double team washes them out and so does ickey.... but no he dropped BACK three YARDS BEHIND BOTH TACKLES. Probably didnt step up because his midget ass cant see over the line if he does.
