  1. Not disagreeing just being objective, as far as we don't know what to expect. He looked a lot closer to what we thought we drafted IMO. This year is make or break
  2. Agreed entirely. I just want Mays to be the starter from the get go he's a starting caliber center. You won't find anyone who can perform that good on the heap.
  3. Eeehhh we are hoping he is better than last years second half, tbh trying to be objective i find it hard to believe any QB would be successful with what he dealt with his first two years. Honestly no matter what I dont think he will be as bad as the beginning of last year dude was derrick carr'ed... beyond that anything is possible IMO.
  4. Ehhh center is two injuries away imo, I dont think for a second all three stay healthy, but Christenson played very well at C.... Honestly I dont know why Mays isnt the starter you won't find a better center on the scap heap.... I'm not worried about the position I'm more worried they dont play the right guy all year and have continuity....
  5. Again not really disagreeing just pointing out that offenses that couldn't score 10 the week before us were dropping 21 by the mid second quarters..... no qb is changing that. Like I said in the other thread this season depends on the oline in my book if the oline can protect Bryce especially early in the year so his confidence stays high i believe later in the year even when he's not getting great protection he will make plays.
  6. I think he definitely can be, and I think a lot of him being the guy lies with that oline.... because Bryces continued development is tied to them especially early in the year if he can continue to build his confidence, late last year when he had his "swag" even when they weren't perfect he was making plays and improvisimg.
  7. Ehhhh gonna have to say the worst defense in NFL history also had somthing to do with it.... We didn't run much late in games.... Although I do agree to an extent, I'll just say it's hard to run the ball when your down 20 by the mid 2nd every week.
  8. The browns Just added Tyler Huntley.... That doesn't scream good QB situation to me they have like 10 bad QBs Massagerapist Huntley Flacco Picket Gabriel Sanders Having 10 QBs isnt a good thing it means you have none... Watch Flacco end up their starter
  9. Ngl still don't think his contract ages well.... Smh
  10. The Panthers reddit and Facebook groups are ghost towns too.... 8 years of suckitude does that. That said most of us still on the huddle have probably all been posting here since an average of like 2006 under one handle or anther lol, The age of the average huddler is now late 30s from what I can tell as well.
  11. I think this year's ultimate sucess or failure will be dependent on the offensive/defensive lines staying healthy. If the oline can knocks on wood have a whole year of continuity with no major injuries i think they can dramatically exceed most expert expectations.
  12. Oh I know you are lol. Roster wise/culture wise and coaching this is definitely the best I've felt since the Ron/Cam/Luke era ended.... My caveat is that a winning season isn't needed for me to consider this season a success, if the team is competitive and continues to make progress offensively and at a minimum the run defense improves dramatically I'll be happy so long as they are competitive. I'm cautiously apathetic lol I see this year being anywhere from 6 to 10 wins.... I'll consider even 6 to be a sucess as it's an improvement, I honestly expect 7-8 wins and if everything goes well I could see 10 or 11.
  13. No one is getting hyped enough to warrant being brought down by that lol. I'm cautiously apathetic..
  14. If I weren't so apathetic with my Fandom I may have even
  15. Should have parted with Burns then.... never understood how you can draft a QB and trade away your best weapon to do it....
  16. Almost all dline positions are rotational this is a silly comment very very few guys play 92% of snaps like Brown did two years ago, it's also not 2020 15m isn't what it used to be the CAP is 279M his cap hit is less than 6% of the cap. He's gonna get his snaps as long as he produces i certainly don't care about "starter" titles defensive line rotation and keeping them fresh is a very GOOD thing.
  17. SMH no no it really isn't.... Brown-Brown-Robinson will be VERY VERY HARD to run agiast if we can get even mediocre LB play.... Wharton will see plenty of snaps.... why waste it on running downs.
  18. Not sure what any of this has to do with him getting hit when not moving on the way to practice lol.
  19. I completely lol agree, unless they are all like week 18 lol. Way to early to take about that.... but I digress my point was how far he will go to drag bryce into a thread lol.
  20. And then there is this guy ^^^^ who has such an impressive level of one mindedness that he drags bryce hate into every single thread after complaining for years we needed to draft a qb #1.
  21. Nothing new there tbh he's a box safety who is awful in coverage
  22. I had a feeling on draft day Princely would be the impact edge rusher for us..... still have that feeling
  23. Insulting people for no reason? Par for you
