  1. I've seen enough of Legette and Wallace to know that we had a decent draft. That's two starters. Brooks is just going to set things in stone. If 18 comes on, then this could be one of the best drafts in franchise history.
  2. I accepted it a year ago. I also accepted that we had to let the situation play out.
  3. Tanking is intentional, and it's meant to be sacrificial in order to improve. We've been sucking while purposely trying to to win.
  4. We are here because of bad drafts and ill-advised deals. It all began with acquiring Darnold (or maybe even Two Gloves).
  5. Hell, Jaycee wouldn't even be untouchable. It all just depends upon the compensation.
  6. I think it's time to sell off some pieces for draft picks and embrace the tank full throttle. It's a waste of Adam Thielen's time for sure, and maybe Diontae Johnson's. We need to get Legette and Coker as many snaps as possible. Too late to deal Shaq.
  7. They are dialing it in. That's a bad sign. It's uncalled for.
  8. That was such a a bad pass. Right into triple coverage.
  9. We have better than average talent at the offensive skill positions, we just have to put them in the best positions for success by calling better plays.
  10. Any offensive improvement has been kinda minimal against a bad Raiders team. He looks a little shaky otherwise. I'm not even sure that he's a good situational play caller. He has to start being a little more creative in my estimation. He has been calling plays, so he's not exactly new at that. I was just getting ready to criticize him for not playing Coker, but at least he's beginning to do that.
  11. If they're going to be that aggressive, we need to call some quick hits over the middle.
  12. He needs to stop all that dancing and hit the hole
  13. If we draft at or near the top, we must consider a QB. We just can't go into another season passing up superior potential at the QB position. At the point we pass up one of the top QBs, we may as well be saying that we're OK with a retread and basically being unstable at the position for who knows how long, including ready to give up draft capital in ill-advised deals to move up and get one in some unspecified draft in the coming years. Because we are so bad this year, I would hope that this would be the closest that we'd be to the top QB talent in the draft without giving up a king's ransom to move up. I would like to think that Bryce is still on the team because we fancy ourselves holding off on a trade until we can get a better deal, whether that be before the trade deadline or during the offseason.
  14. I mean, I think we'll have a top three pick. As such, I don't think we're drafting anything other than a QB. Admittedly, I haven't looked too closely yet at all the prospects, but from what little I have seen, I think we should go Cam Ward.
  15. I've been saying three wins since the summer. I just didn't know our equation to get there. I thought we'd get to four to six wins only if we were lucky. Well, we aren't. I could never have imagined so many injuries. I expected Bryce to peter out despite at least a solid O-line, for Chuba to be Chuba, for Diontae Johnson to be a dawg, and for Legette to flash. I expected the offense to be better, but didn't know what to expect from the defense, though nothing great (especially without a pass rush). So overall it may be a little worse, mainly due to injuries.
  16. I would say that Saleh has a more legit resumé when it comes to defensive excellence.
  17. I'm saying that no one wants to play next to a weak link. The more experienced and better that the lineman next to you is, and the more chemistry that the line is able to develop as a unit, the better that everyone will play. That's all I'm saying. With Ickey, the traits were always there, it just takes time to develop. I think we're doing some players a disservice by expecting them to be great off the bat. They can flash, but they're playing is likely going to be uneven until the light turns on.
  18. Oh, you heard that and got it wrong too? I guessed Weinke, but I thought there may be a Browns QB that I couldn't think of, and of course it was Deshone Kizer.
  19. Well we obviously aren't even thinking about moving him to guard, otherwise we wouldn't have paid so much for guards in the offseason. As for taking Moton's spot at some point, that's down the line, and only if we draft a tackle who is presumably better than Ickey on the left. I doubt it's the plan right now because we're getting stable LT play from Ickey. Honestly, it just goes to show, yet again, that giving guys time to develop is a positive.
