  1. it really wasnt.. im concerned that this class is over hyped.
  2. I just cant put my finger on why he doesnt do that consistently. He is good for one of those every other week.
  3. Yeah, I want to get on a soap box and share that Levis is not surrounded by elite talent, and the coaching is holding him back. However, I dont want to come off bias either. I really like Levis and he has all of the tangibles to be an elite QB. I need a game where he given an opportunity to use his head more than his abilities to judge him even better after last night's performance. Tough one to chew on.
  4. I don’t know how I feel right now, but I think once the game starts I’ll know. You know?
  5. I’m hungover as poo. the dude played bad last night, I get the talent difference between KY and Tennessee but man what I saw last night was easily the worst game of his college career. You take the good with the bad, but last night was tough for the kid. im not jumping off the train yet, but I am looking at the stops coming up.
  6. KY weakness is their pass protection one of the worst in the nation.
  7. I need the volunteers to score a TD here, so that stoops will give up on his conservative game plan and let us see Levi’s’ arm.
  8. You know we don’t draft players for NFL teams…..right?
  9. He isn’t a top prospect imo. He is the first of the leftovers though.
  10. How? It was his cover man that hit him, not a lurker safety or linebacker. Get got hit by the corner covering him. if anything it was telegraphed play call.
  11. Volunteers running that chip Kelly offense
  12. That ball was not catchable…. And a flop
  13. I really hoping after tonight this forum gets on the Levis hype train. This is the guy.
  14. The Kentucky offense won’t “showcase” levis tonight but it will be an excellent glimpse of how he handles a pro style offense against a solid defense
  15. Looking forward to all of the anti-Levis posts in this thread.
  16. sorry if im coming off aggressive, I have had a few drinks and surrounded by buckeyes... haha. Not my intention. This includes you @MillionDollarCam as well.
  17. I've watched that video along with QB school, football scout 365 and Locked On. Ultimately they all came away with similiar weaknesses as I shared above.
  18. gotcha okay then. I thought were talking about Stroud.
  19. Where the balls starts and ends in the throwing motion is EVERYTHING. Time to throw is a good attribute, but if that ball starts low, a defender can knock it out of their hand before they can even exercise that .3 TTT. This is one of the HUGE issues with Fields and why he led the NFL in turnovers last year. The Bears QB staff spent the entire offseason coaching him to bring his starting motion hire. However, he still goes bac to his habits, much like what we saw with Cam when our coaches tried to help compact his throwing motion.
  20. I think the piece that I did a poor job of communicating is that calling a team the best in the nation before they have to play the best in the nation, is premature. Thats the issue with college football. It's also why I am a fan of the super conference concept. Similiar to how FIFA runs the Premiere ship. You earn and lose your spot in a super conference. College football is a sport where the talent outweighs schemes and coaches.
  21. haha, I am not a hate but I am surrounded by OSU fans. Literally 8 of the 11 people in my living room right now are OSU fans. 1 PSU... the other 2 dont give a poo.
  22. I am having the conversation around schedules with @MillionDollarCam- not sure how that made its way into this convo since we are talking about Stroud as a QB. Levis has already proven he has the tangibles to carry a team. KY is b rated talent in college and they are maintaining position ina tough conference. He isnt the focus here though. You dont draft QBs because of where their team finishes, but rather their tangibles and ability to lead football teams. Stroud is just a cog in the OSU machine. What I am holding against Stroud is that he hasnt had to show the true tangibles of an NFL ready QB. He has okay mechanics, and he is the most athletic person on the field, so he wont be able to use his deet to separate himself. He also doesnt have the arm strength you would want from a QB that is taken #1 overall. He is comfortbale behind Young, Levis and Hooker when it comes to arm strength. Put Stroud on another program, say KY? He isnt even up for discussion as #1. Again this is my perspective and from my studies of film review and reddit/message boards.
  23. There is a reason the CFPNC exists... other than just money.... we werent seeing teams of equal talent play each other to a point to justify who truly is a good football team vs a good conference football team. Defend it all you want, but OSU is doing what they are expected and have yet to experience any adversity. Again, my perspective.. I am not going to judge OSU until they play another elite college program.
  24. I already did a write in one of these college QB threads breaking his throwing motion down. He has a lot to work on when he joins the NFL. He has the Tebo "wind up" issue. He starts his throw from his hip and drives the ball up before getting to his release point. Image below. That throw starting point is going to be a big problem in the NFL.
