A bit quick to judge?

I know people have been upset about Tyson Chandlers play, but he hasnt been healthy yet this season. Not to mention the fact we were not really expecting to get a superstar out of him. But in tonights win for the Bobcats I saw some GREAT things from Chandler

1. He didnt try to do too much. He only shot 5 shots and all 5 went in.

2. He played DEF with a big body. 3 blocked shots and held a high-scoring Atlanta team under 85 points.

I think tonight is exactly what we want out of Chandler. Hit the shots you take but dont worry about OFF just Focus on DEF. We needed a big body badly and now we have one. Once he gets healthy, he could be key in our very slim shot against teams like orlando and cleveland. Be big in the point and dont like Lebron or Howard have any easy buckets. Make them earn em. If Chandler continues to play like he did tonight, I will be very pleased. Not to mention the fact the our team has tons of depth... we would be loaded with depth if we get Steven Jackson.

i don't expect too much from tyson, the problem is his production early on has been abysmal, something like 5 and 5, if he turns it around and can be anything close to a 10 and 10 guy who can alter shots in the lane, i'll be happy

i definitely like what i've seen so far though from the cats, our 2 losses are against cleveland and boston, can't complain about the results, 41-41 will definitely get the team a playoff spot, imo. they have to avoid long losing streaks as much as possible

    • Lol. Yeah. First of all, some people here had it in for him because they wanted McConkey. They were down on him from the start. As soon as he falls short they got their knives out. Don’t y’all deny it.   But he has given them ammunition with his miscues, good lord not making that catch in Philedelphia for the TD got him fried.    I think some of that got nasty because Bryce defenders need to place blame elsewhere. Talk down about his weapons. There is just bias against him from different factions. Different quarters.    He isn’t helping himself much either, there was no real redemption on the field. Not of the magnitude he needed to produce. At the same time he has for sure been open and I ha en’t seen them use him the way I thought they were going to. So I don’t know what to think think about it really.    My thing is, we have a HC and OC that has their foundation built on WR coaching. That morphed into QB coaching and whispering, if you will. But these fugers know WRs, supposedly. I don’t know how much they have worked with him. I don’t know how much extra he has put in either. I do suspect Bryce Young has gotten most of their attention and they haven’t put XL as a priority project.    Young needed the attention, I get that. I’d like to see them take him on as a real priority before giving up on him. Where we are now is he got his notice that he isn’t good enough. Need to see if that got through to him, maybe he bears down and focuses.  Or maybe he can’t. I can’t defend his shitty play but I do see flashes of a guy that could be an asset and I would just like the staff to take one good last swing at bringing it out of him before they give up.
    • Just grab all 50 and release the ones who don't work out
    • @MHS831I liked your thinking  historically: ILB, S and TE are positions not heavily emphasized in the draft. If you could sign starters at each of those positions it would leave round one open to BPA which would hopefully be an edge, OT or to contradict myself ILB too
