GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK FROM THE CAROLINA PANTHERS MANAGEMENT AND COACHING STAFF. I READ A THREAD EARLIER TALKING ABOUT LAYING OFF. THE ONLY REASON WHY WE HAVE DONE AS WELL AS WE HAVE IS BECAUSE HURNEY AND FOX'S JOBS WERE THREATENED SO THEY FINALLY MADE SOME DRASTIC MOVES THAT HAD BEEN LONG AWAITED. DON'T GET ME WRONG. I LOVE FOXEY, BUT HE IS DIPPING RIGHT BACK INTO HIS OLD WAYS AGAIN. HERE IS THE SCENERIO. 1 MINUTE LEFT IN THE HALF. WE HAVE NO TURNOVERS FOR THE GAME AND THE OFFENSE IS STROKEN IT. COME ON BOYS, LETS DRIVE IT ON THEM. OH HELL NO, THIS IS THE PANTHERS. WEVE GOT A 8 POINT LEAD ON THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPS, LETS DOWN THE BALL AND CALL IT A HALF. WTF. IF THIS KINDA CRAP CONTINUES TO HAPPEN, I SAY OFF WITH HIS HEAD!:rant:

jesus, you're such an idiot. we loose one game because our defense plays like doodie, not to mention we take them to OT, and would have had it with the FG.

Yeah, he's pretty much always gonna be conservative...... especially when he doesn't trust Jake enuf. IMHO, he makes that call to take it into the locker room simply because he is afraid of one of those flying quails that are thrown up.... or a loose ball in the pocket....

Fox plays the game to either win or tie with a field goal at the end... that's what we got.... Hell, if the freaking refs call Kasey for that false start, we may have won the game, he had enuf leg for 5 more yds.... And then we all say, Great Strategy!!!

I said I love Foxey, always have, just hate, hate, hate his conservativeness sometimes.

By the way, im far from the idiots you read on here all the time. I actually watch the games.

I agree, and I would have. Does anyone else here need a pace maker since Fox got here. Man he'll keep you worried. LOL Its just a thread fellas, I bleed panther blue.

Sometimes, you just have to get things off your chest and vent to other fans of the team you love. Nothing wrong with that, and certainly not something a person should be called names over. If nothing else, the caps lock should have told you he was venting ;)

      This would be a little ludicrous. The Bus looked so much more comfortable in between the pipes and was a huge reason as to why the Canes were able to fight back in Game 3. Had Freddie stayed in, the Canes lose that game 6-1 in regulation.

      Back after email validation fiasco.  With all due respect, this is an awful take. Coming back from 4-0 to force OT is a huge feat and shows that these games can turn at any moment. That is much more promising than losing 4-0 or, let’s be real, 6 or 7-0 if Freddie had stayed in the game, and being completely demoralized.  Fighting back, regardless of the outcome, proves Carolina has the ability, and the desire, to be competitive and, as Game 2 shows, win these games. Not fighting back after being down 4-0 doesn’t show those things and is a worse way to lose.  There are so many in the board with a viewpoint that is the antithesis of Roosevelt’s Man in the Arena. This “It’s better to just get stomped than fight back from down 4-0 only to lose” is an extension of that.

      I am fairly confident that won’t happen if Freddy is in net. Just from the few stops Bussi made it is obvious Freddy is a liability.  Bussi made stops Freddy could never make including that penalty shot.
