2.5 – Will my items, armor, stats, etc transfer over if I import my character from Dragon Age: Origins? (Back to top)

Almost all items are imported with your character. The only exceptions are the Origins promotional items and DLC loot, which were meant for Origins alone.

I am still burned out on the original game to play a hearty expansion at this time. This will have to wait until a later date when there's less stuff to get through.

Just played it for about an hour. So far, so good.

I've really been impressed with the way they've handled importing characters. (speaking of which, could anyone who has a save game with Loghain dead and Alistair the King upload and send me their save? I lost mine and want to compare Alistair's dialogue :/)

***POSSIBLE SPOLIERS BELOW***

The first character I imported saved Loghain and married Anora. She addressed me as her husband and the prince of Ferelden.

The second character I imported saved Loghain, but convinced Anora and Alistair to marry. So I saw Alistair instead. He seemed like he might still be pissed off at me, but I couldn't really tell. If he is, he seems like he may, hopefully, be getting over it finally.

Played it for an hour or so.. really liking it so far, its what it should have kinda be like when you got the DLC for the fort in orig game.

Yeah, that's why I didn't buy it. L4D2 was one of those games that actually was a copy and paste job.

I'll not ever buy another Valve game again. And we can thank Micro$oft and the 360 for that.

But my point is, even though I think Dragon Age is crap, this expansion is probably worth more than most.
