If you knew the history of L4D, you'd know that everything in L4D2 was slated to be released as content for L4D. There's multiple interviews to back up these claims.

But as soon as M$ and EA got ahold of L4D, they decided that the content was too much for L4D (which was a broken, half-assed, incomplete game to begin with) so 2 months after L4D was launched, they refocused all the promised content to L4D2...something Valve is not known for.

But I wouldn't expect console gamers to know or even give two squirts of piss about that.

Back on subject. DA:O Expansion > FF12.

It definitely doesn't have the epic feel that the main game had though. But it's good for what it is, which is basically kind of an epilogue to DA.

I'm advancing two characters through the game simultaneously, so it might pick up as I get more into the game.

But so far I feel like a cop policing my arling and not a Grey Warden defending the world from the dangers of the darkspawn. The whole game is confined to this one little piece of Ferelden.

It's not bad by any means, it's just not great.

Mostly the latter. But again I JUST finished policing up Amaranthine with both of my characters.

The restoration of Vigil's Keep is pretty cool, but I thought that system would have been better used in the main game, maybe to prepare Denerim for the darkspawn horde.
