Well, after winning a squeaker in game 1, we drop game 2. Obviously wasn't as bad as the final score would indicate.. lolchavez.

But I thought Tommy pitched well, and it's unfortunate that he couldn't get a win.

We would be in the playoffs if we could play the Astros and Brewers all season.

So would everyone else. We're 10-6 since the nine game losing streak, which just goes to show you how hard it is to recover from that many losses in a row. We're playing good ball right now and beating bad teams, we just lost one game to the Mets last night.

Medlen did a very nice job last night. Not everyday you can get a spot start and down Santana like he did. This is his chance to prove he should be a starter even when Jair returns. Kawakami has a lot more to prove now.

Feels great to be .500

Yes it does. Now lets see if they can keep this up, and get comfortably above .500.

I havent bought a baseball jersey in years, but I think I'm going to order me a Heyward jersey. Andruw and Chipper Jones were my fav players growing up, but Heyward is quickly rising up the ranks. Great game today. J-Hey does it again.

Damn. I DVR pretty much every game (directv extra innings), and try to watch them that night if i can. Sometimes I'll watch live, sometimes i'll fast forward and do a 15 minute game summary before i go to bed. However, tonight i went to a seminar after work and forgot to set my dvr to record tonights game. And forgetting is hard to do considering i can set my dvr to record from my phone. And now i'm sad.....and a little drunk.

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
