Lets just get this straight i hate u guys... when you play my team. :D when you play other teams i am just amazed at the talent you guys have. I hear about you guys EVERYDAY!!! my bro-in-law is a carolina fan, i am a card fan and we work togeather 6 days a week. you can imgaine how excited we were when we found out about this weekends game.

I would just like to say thanx for the props and welcoming us on your front page. you guys as fans are really a class act (except for my bro hahahha).

as for the game i am excited to see DRC on Smitty. now i am not naive i think DRC will need help. i hope your secondary stays the same so kurt can have a big day. i personally think if our def played like they did during the atl game we will LOSE. yeah i said it. To be able to stop d williams and j stewart we need to play HARDER then we did against atl's non-burner turner(42 yrds :nono: hahha). you guys say edge only had 75 yrds against atl and how is that a threat? well if you notice in the game clinching 1st down to spach the linebacker jumped because of edge and thats what left spach open. my point is we dont need him to score or get hundreds of yds. we just need to keep your def honest. all the scoring and massive yds can come from our passing game.

well just my thoughts as a football fan and not as a homer. heres to a great game and no injuries!!! is it SAT yet?

Nice post. However, you have to realize that Atlanta is 28th against the run. Their run D is terrible. We now have our two DT's back.

I do not expect teh Cards to get more than 40 yds on the ground. It is flat out up to Warner to generate your offense.

DWill and Stewart are on an absolute tear over the past 8 weeks. I do not thin kthe Cardinals D has much of a chance to slow them down. If they completely sell out on the run with 8-9 in teh box...then Jake will kell them with Smitty and Moose being matched up 1-on-1.

Agreed, but if we can just get you to worry about the run just a LIL bit, it can open up the field for the 3 receivers we have and we don't need a lot to be able to pass. just a LIL bit. about dwill and stew. i am TERRIFIED of them and the exact scenario you explained. All us card fans can hope is DRC can cover smitty when we do stack the box.

Nothing against you guys but we are sick of playing you. We've played each other every year since '01 (I think) except for '06. That's a lot for a non-divisional team. They really need to mix the schedule up more for next couple of years.

i dont think i will be sick of playing u guys until we WIN hahha.

    • Congratulations do they know who the father is?
    • In my opinion Fitterer was probably right about not paying McCaffrey. Now not wanting to "pay RBs" in my opinion isn't something you want to set in stone, to me it all comes down to the individual.
    • Maybe I'm just not understanding, but everywhere that I have read says that signing bonuses go against the cap prorated by as much as five years. The following example uses Andrew Luck's rookie contract as an example. "Take Andrew Luck, the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Luck signed a four-year contract with the Colts worth $22.1 million and included a $14.5 million signing bonus. Rather than a $14.5 million cap hit in 2012, the Colts spread out his signing bonus over the life of his contract. The hit against the cap would be $3.625 million per year over four years instead of a direct cap hit of $14.5 million directly in 2012. This gave the Colts more leverage and cap flexibility in signing other players." https://www.the33rdteam.com/nfl-signing-bonuses-explained/ I don't know why some of you think that signing bonuses aren't counted against the cap over the length of the contract, but whatever.   "The bonus with a signing is usually the most garish aspect of a rookie contract. Bonus is the immediate cash players receive when they ink a deal. It factors into the cap, but only for the whole contract duration, in terms of salary cap calculations. In the case of Bryce Young’s $24.6 million signing bonus, that’s prorated to approximately $6.15 million per season over a four-year deal. This format allows teams to handle the cap and provides rookies with some short-term fiscal stability, which is important given the high injury risk in this league." https://collegefootballnetwork.com/how-rookie-contracts-work-in-the-nfl/ I understand how signing bonuses can be a useful tool in order to manage the cap, and as one of the article suggests, signing bonuses may become important if you have a tight cap, but the bill is always going to come due. I'm not necessarily referring to you Tuka, but it seems to me that others simply don't want to understand that fact which is why they're reacting to what I'm saying negatively. How odd. In any event, I have a better general understanding of why signing bonuses are used now, and it's generally to fit salaries under the cap. Surely players, whether they be rookies or not, love a signing bonus because they get a good portion of their money up front. This in turn gives them more security and probably amounts to tax benefits as well. I also understand why teams would not want to use signing bonuses, particularly for players or draftees who have a higher probability of being gone before a contract even ends.
