Hughes may return to Charlotte (Which doesn't make sense???)

Recommended Posts

Larry Hughes is still waiting for the right situation but he has had discussion about returning to Charlotte.

Larry Hughes traveled to Las Vegas this summer to work on his game and take in some Summer League action. Hughes remains an unsigned free agent for the 10-11 season. He split time between the Knicks and Bobcats in 09-10 and there have been reports that he’d prefer to return to Charlotte. “We’re talking,” Hughes said of the Bobcats. “You know, we’re talking, but I’m still waiting on the right situation to come up.” When asked whether he made the trip to Vegas to work out for teams, Hughes replied: "I’m just getting my work in and waiting for things to happen."

I don't really understand why he would still be an option with the addition of Matt Carroll. We now have Captain Jack, Hendo, and The Hammer...so I don't really know why the Bobcats would re-sign Hughes.

I would think Jackson would be the one to go. Id like to keep Henderson.

All of the rumors have Jackson as the one that is staying. With the way he's taken to LB, and LB to him, I see a very miniscule chance that Jackson isn't with the team next year.

    • 3/10. Last year was a 1/10. So we going on up. lol
    • This is honestly shocking He's the 2nd most accurate kicker in NFL history, has only missed a handful of games in his career, twice lead the league in FGA, was the league leader in XPA and XPM in a season, and lead the league in points one year too (while also having the most FG's that season too). Really surprising that he hasn't been named to either of those teams yet
    • Ngl, I know WR is probably our deepest unit, but Jahdae Walker from Chicago looks like a fuging baller if the Bears let him go.  Super smooth, athletic, great body control and awareness.
