With just 40ha and an elephant named Tarra, Carol Buckley helped establish The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tennessee, about 130kmsouthwest of Nashville, in 1995, The Tennessean said.

As the refuge grew to cover 1092ha and took in over 20 elephants, Buckley became its president, CEO and primary fundraiser, the paper said.

But in 2009, Ms Buckley was forced to take a leave of absence. She was subsequently stripped of her duties and fired this past March.

Ms Buckley claimed she was thrown out in retaliation to her complaints about the sanctuary’s spending and health protocols. She has filed a lawsuit against the refuge, acting CEO Mary Baker and board member Janice Zeitlin, and she is seeking $US500,000 in damages and visitation rights to her elephant, Tarra.

Sheeeeshhh...she's acting like they will forget her.

      The pro bowl should be brought back, it should be in Honolulu with proper marketing and eyes on it, it should be the nfl subsidizing a week long vacation for guys with their families-with that the one big change to make is to get rid of the fan voting. Have each send a collection of five or six guys they deemed their best and if the rosters get a little wonky personnel-wise, that’s okay. That’s part of the fun. short of that, the only other thing I could recommend is having a similar set-up-no fan voting, teams selecting their best players, and sending them to compete against the chosen players from 31 other teams in real Olympic level sporting completions to see who comes out on top.   seeing the panthers delegates beat the disgusting saints delegates up for the Gold in the rowing competition or the 4x100 relay would actually feed into the competitive nature of fans and give them something to root for. you could even have under armour sell the logo cladded up team gear that the pros wear in these games for money, this stuff basically writes itself if the nfl wasn’t trying to use this event help sell the idea that no defense and lots of passing is a GOOD THING and you LOVE THIS and THE GAMES SHOULD BE MORE LIKE THIS.
