During an interview at Notre Dame's game against Western Michigan, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed that Vikings quarterback Brett Favre would be meeting with the league next week about the messages and photos he allegedly sent to former Jets employee Jenn Sterger.

Goodell told Alex Flanagan of NBC Sports that the league was still investigating the issue and did not specify a time for the meeting during the interview. Flanagan later tweeted that the meeting would take place on Tuesday.

During halftime, Peter King added that the meeting would be in Minneapolis with Milt Aldridge, the NFL's vice president of security operations

    • Regression is not an option for a lot of folks in the building and on the field. It will not sit well with the big man writing checks. Canales handed over play calling because he literally cost the team 3 games last season. Make no mistake the pressure is on both Canales and Young.
    • Anyway, it is good news, potentially.   The last 24 hours have seen many glitches and errors and failures to load or handshake etc. like what we saw before it went down the last time.  So this is right on time.
    • For some reason I see Buffalo as a good spot for him. Similar to Pittsburgh in a few ways. They have kept coaches longer than many, and are kind of working class. And have a QB. If the new hire falters and Tomlin wants back in,  could be something there.
