One way to answer all of those questions is to answer this one...

Who make up the core group of players on this team?

As of right now, I believe those players are Jordan Gross, Ryan Kalil, Jonathan Stewart, Charles Johnson, Jon Beason and Chris Gamble. All other players are expendable, replaceable and easily upgradable. And yes that includes Steve Smith, DeAngelo Williams, Everette Brown, Jimmy Clausen, Thomas Davis ect.

I do believe that there is going to be a lot of changes in store in the next couple of months and it will include some moves that many will not like i.e. DeAngelo Williams. However, that core group will play some major roles in the decissions made including who the next head coach will be. And be sure that the lack of a quarter back being among that group will impact some decissions as well.
