Racial bias is about the race of the player. Not the person making the statement.

In other words an African American can make a racially biased statement about a African American player just as easily as a white person can.

Just because a person is white or black doesn't mean that certain stereotypes don't intrude on their psyche.

Well said, many people carry racial bias but they are not "racist" per say. Sometimes folks have racial bias that they are not even aware of, because it's been programmed into their subconscious.

      That is possible. I suppose the fact that he didn’t get picked up at a better price (for him) and was sitting there having to accept a prove it deal, might say he was already at least halfway there. To crickets.   I have a feeling he will get playing time and a chance to show he is capable.  He could parlay this season into a contract here if it goes well for him. A prove it 2027 at RT could happen too.  We have no clue what will unfold in the next 12 months right now.

      I think he will be unhappy if he isn't the starter. He took a one-year "prove it" contract essentially. If he can't prove he's a quality starting LT, his market will be crickets in the offseason.
